| First pictures So all these new YT babies going home have me reminiscing about Ruby and Rosie coming home. How giddy and excited I was...I drove 6 hours to pick them up and it seem to take FOREVER to get there!! Here are their very first pictures when they became mine! Ruby's pic was taken 12/11 and Rosie's was taken 3/12. Does any one else have a "first" picture they want to share??

| How sweet your babies are! Don't you just love the vulnerable but tough little Yorkie? They are ALL so precious but these two are just special! Each one of your cuties is so adorable it makes me want to rush right out and bring back two or three Yorkies right now from the first reputable breeder or rescue I can raise. There is nothing like a little Yorkie picture to bring a big smile of recognition. I see familiarity in each Yorkie - something I recognize from my own dogs over the years and I guess that's why all of them here start to grow dear to us in some virtual way. They all do favor in some ways and seem like "family". I'll upload one of Tibbe's first pictures soon. He was 9 mos. old and his coat was growing out long and he was very much darker, not curly then. He barely looks like the same dog!

| Thanks Jeanie- Your post is so true! I don't think there is a yorkie out there that I can't fall in love with just because they have yorkie in them. All these new babies are giving me the urge to get a new baby but...I believe I have space for one more dog in my home and I am reserving that spot for a rescue when I've a bit more time to work with a foster!! Its so fun watching the new puppies going home and the excitement their mommies and daddies are having!! I can't wait to see Tibbe's first picture!!!

| Here is a picture of Tibbe his second day home. He was a kennel-crazy, wild, fear-riddled dog who'd never been out of an outside cage much his whole 9 mos. of life, apparently drank from a guinea-pig bottle and had his food thrown into his cage or something from the way he acted. He did not seem to know what bowls were for! He would stand in his water bowl and eventually spill it everywhere as well as his food bowl so I had to keep his food/water in container lids to keep the mess down as I was training him about the world and how life should and could be for a dog. He preferred to use a blanket for peeing/pooping over using the paper or pee pads I got him so rather than doggie blankets at first I used towels I could wash with bleach! In time, he learned how to be a real dog and not just a caged animal and is now the perfect, well-trained pet, happy and healthy except for some left-over panic attacks from certain new noises but we work on those as they happen. He was not a very happy little boy when I got him but he soon found his smile and he lives large.

| I so agree about the baby faces. All puppies are cute but to me, but a Yorkie puppy face is beyond all others in what appeals most to me.
