I have had the same Avatar for quite some time now. Should I keep it the same or change it to this new picture. Let me know your thoughts.

I'm the wrong one to ask. Your existing one looks a lot like my Eddie when he was younger, and I really like his eyes. Love that shot.

The new one is more fun, but I'm a sucker for the intelligent eyes in the current avatar.

Ooh, you could do a moving avatar and use both! If you don't know how to do it, I'm sure one of the smarties around here would be happy to help.

Here's a quick one with no frills. If you click on it, you'll see the two photos.

You should be able to drag it to your desktop and load it up as an avatar and see how you like it.

Or wait until someone offers to do a fancier one!

Just Love both picture's. You have a beautiful Yorkie. You should be very proud of him, or her. Is your yorkie a male or female?

Ha ha that's what I was going to do, it's too hard to pick just one picture, use them both!

Alaskayorkie, thanks so much for helping me with this. I have no clue how you got the two pictures together, but whatever you did, it worked and I have a new Avatar and Profile Picture.

You need a program that can make a gif file. A gif file groups several pictures together in one file. There are several online programs, and Photoscape offers a free program, I linked it in this thread. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ng-avatar.html

Glad it worked! Animated avatars are fun to play with and easy once you get the hang of it. Check out the link Nancy left you. And if you're not into it, there's always someone who can whip one up for you if you make a post like this one.
