She's so darling:love:! I'm so glad that she ended up with you:) RIP little Max:unlove: At least he knew love and had a wonderful, caring family before he passed. He was adorable! That man is an awful person and I'd like to think that he's going straight to Hades when he passes on. I don't know how any one with a soul can do that to helpless little animals that they are supposed to be caring for:( |
You are a amazing and so is your entire family for taking in little Ellie and giving her the love, care and comfort she deserves. Keep up the good work and remember Ellie now feels comfortable and save and this is what matters. Cherish every moment you have with her. As for Jeff, in my opinion there is a special place in He*# for people like him. |

My Oscar, she actually is not feeling well today, my dad says she may have allergies. Her eyes are not looking good. Is it normal for them to have so much discharge from their eyes? I clean them everyday but she has always had this problem. I thank you all for saying how great it is for what I am doing but honestly I know any of you would have done the same exact thing. After reading a lot of the posts from all of you, you all have very big hearts and love for your pets. This is rare now a days sad to say but so true. I commend you all for the love you have! :heart to |
The hump you are talking about is because she is so little and fragile. It doesnt have anything to do with the hydro. A lot of tinies have the hump. It is because their bones are so delicate and the spine starts to bow up. One of my tinies with hydro is 8 years old and the other is 5. The prednisone made mine sluggish and I couldnt tell any difference is their symptoms either. One has a hearing problem and the other has a peripherial vision problem. They do get along well with each other and the other dogs too. Both of them are pretty spirited. Hope you have as much luck with yours as I have mine. |
What a blessing you are and it breaks my heart to know how some can treat animals so cruelly....I just can't wrap my brain around it, where does this type of treatment come from? |
hi , just checking on ellie. i hope she is feeling better. yeah, my shih tzu has allergies and her eyes will get all yucky too. prayers for ellie |
What a sad story... I'm so glad you rescued her. |
This is so sad! What a lucky pup to have found you! I apologize if I missed this, but has she not gained any weight since you got her a couple of months ago? She has stayed at one pound? Hopefully she can gain weight soon and recover the best way she can. |

wow, good for you for taking this tiny one in |
I keep thinking about this little girl, the OP posted in the fashion forum about getting a dress for her, several of us reached out to help and I PM'd her but she has not been on her since 4/28 and that worries me, I hope nothing is wrong with Ellie. Does anyone know her or have recent communication with her, if so let he know people are asking are about her. |
what a story. I am crying now for all the poor dogs, but happy two were saved - even if the brother was in a safe happy place for only a few days. |
I just received a PM from the OP and good news sort of, her daughter had surgery and that is why she has been tied up and not posting. She is just catching up on her messages now and is very thankful for everyone's kindness |

Well we have good news, I finally heard from SPCA of the United States and they say he is breaking numerous laws and want me to report him to the sherrifs department. I am waiting for my full vet report and then filing :) |

Im so sorry sweetie My 18 year old daughter had to have emergency surgery on Sunday and we just got home. She is fine now but man I had a horrible scare with Ellie on Tuesday that still makes me cry. We almost lost her. I posted about it in the Diet forum because I need help feeding her right. |

I hope that once you get everything in order you will be able to get this man shut down once and for all! Sorry to hear about your daughter's surgery but glad it all went okay. Little Ellie is so cute. Keep up the good work! |

These poor babies! It's truly disgusting to what happens to some animals. Your baby is so lucky to have you. I met my neighbor today while walking Avery and she had a very teeny, tiny Yorkie. I asked her how old and when she told me 6 months, I immediately grew concerned and asked her where she got her. This little baby is probably only more than a pound or so. I held my tongue because I wouldn't want someone 'educating' me on Avery. But, I truly wish that people would realize the smaller isn't necessarily the best way. Avery is 5.5lbs on heavy days and he's plenty small enough. Ellie Mae is beautiful! |
