I decided to let Romeo's hair grow (not cut since November 2011) and this is his look a month ago. Not sure if he will survive the summer months though as we tend to be hot and HUMID here...

Thanks all and a TEAPOT at that too! I would have never guessed, in a million years, that I could fall head over heels in love with a dog and sacrifice everything for him

What a handsome boy! I know what you mean about longer hair in the summer... My two have long hair right now, and I don't want to... But will probably have to cut it this summer because it gets soooo hot!

Thank you and he's a devilish bug. Romeo will not give up until he gets what HE wants...I have to admit, I let him train me instead of the other way around.

Romeo and my Zada have identical coats and same length. I'm letting hers grow out too, but her coat is so thick it may make her too hot and that isn't good because she has a collapsed trachea and heat is bad for them. We will see how she does.
When is his birthday and how old is he. Was thinking it may be possible that they were littermates.

Wow, I see the resemblance. Romeo's bday is June 7, 2009. I would have never guessed he'd look like this -- I knew his color would change but had no idea what to expect. He gets very hot even after running around for just 5 or 10 minutes. I would hate to see him uncomfortable just because I am selfish and want to grow his hair...so time will tell.
