Your baby is gorgeous! She has the same coat as my Gio does. It will probely be silky straight. A lot more manageable!!!! I have Gio's son which is a cotton coat. Very time consuming. Mattes easily. I say Gio has Farah Faucett hair cause its just flows. Lol |
Meesha is adorable! |
First I must tell you how adorable your pup is!! If the coat is thin then I think it is silky. I have one with silky the other with cottony. The silky is thin (and tends to be greasy) the cottony is very, VERY thick and never gets greasy. The silky is shiny and the cottony not so much. |
Thin Coats My Joey has a thin coat and I have been reading all about all of yours. One thing I did not read about was the hair on the neck. He has thin hair coming from his chin area but then where his throat is he is so sparse there. He is 17 months old. Will he grow more hair in that area?I think I have explained it right to you. It's just a little section around his throat area. Thank you for your reply. :aimeeyork |
Jasper is her twin sister. :) Hi to all, This is my 1st post and wanted to say how great this forum is. Also wanted to say I think I have Meesha's twin brother. :). See my profile pics. Jasper is now 4 mos old and is such a sweetheart. I have both cotton coat and silky, they both are just as beautiful! |
thanks eveyone for the compliments:), but don't let her sweet looks decieve you,she thinks shes the boss and big dog hehe... and silver lace, meesha has thin hair there too i can usually see her skin and it gets greasy there before eveywhere else which makes it look even thiner lol,and its good to know even though she dosen't have that big fluffy hair that its normal and just probably a silky coat and nothing wrong with her.. shes going to be easier to groom and not mat, i use to spend hours trying to groom the knots out of my shelties fur so this will be great lol |
