Had a new one put on today. He alreay did a bit of "WORK" on it.....back on the collar goes!

Awww, poor little Basil. Tell Basil that Mylee had a cute little hair cut like that on both her front legs for a while tooo.

Poor little guy. Such a pityful little face.

He hates that thing, but he has to have it!! Sending hugs for your little guy for a speedy recovery and hope he gats that darn thing off quickly.

2 weeks and 2 days. He needs the splint on for a total 6 weeks. Then he will need another 4 weeks of on leash only walking, no running. When it comes off, his desperate look of depression will end. THe leg is heaking great, and will be 100%.

We were in Alaska when it happpened. The lady we hired to stay with the yorkies 24/7 had no idea. I am sure he and his brother were up to no good. The lady did what we asked and got him to the Surgeon who put in the tiny plate and splint. He will have Bionic front legs now!

Turned out to be a very expensive vacation.

They had to shave the other leg for the IV during surgery. That is the leg that he broke months ago and has healed perfectly.
