I know I keep saying this but I am just amazed at how much Mikki has changed in the last two months since I got her. The groomer was even bragging on how much better she looked. Her hair is getting thicker, longer, and turning more silver in the back. I think she is turning into such a pretty little girl. I am so glad we got her when we did! She is even getting more used to wearing the hair bows. Before she was scared of them. I will make her into a diva yet! :D

The first picture is from her previous owner the day I got her. The other two are taken today outside my house. And the third is of her and Rosie! Just look at the difference in my new sweet baby girl! :)

Oh my goodness, what a difference!!
It just goes to show what a loving home and good care can do. Those pictures are just precious. I cannot believe how much Mikki and Rosie look alike. In that last picture they look like true sisters, one is just a smaller version:)
It was meant for Mikki to be part of your family, I thought it from that first post when you didn't know what to do and were waiting to hear from your DH. These pictures just prove it:)

I think they look a lot alike. I can't believe it! Look at this side shot. I swear she favors Rosie a lot! I remember that day well. I was a nervous wreck! DH loves Mikki now! He tells her all the time that he is glad I got her. And I was so scared he was going to be mad! But he wasn't! DH can be a softy!!!

She is beautiful. :) I felt the same about my hubby. I was worried on how he was going to take to her. I brought her home without consulting him first and he just loves her to pieces! He treats her more like a baby than he did to our kids. lol :D

Mikki has the same facial features as Rosie and the coloring on their faces is almost identical. It is so funny how these tough men can melt over our little loves:)

She is looking so much better! You are doing a great job and she is so lucky you have her now. Not only does her hair look good she really looks happier and well loved.

Wow, she looks like a totally different girl! That first picture she just looked so sad and unkempt and now, lookout world, here comes Miss Beautiful:D The girls do look like sisters too!!!!:D

Thanks everyone! I think she is starting to really blossom! :) I do think she is so much happier now. The first picture she looks so scared. But not now! She knows this is her new home and that we love her. I can't wait to see how much more she will change in her appearance. I do think proper care, diet, etc plays a big part. But I think being loved is the number one thing that helps them to change.

Wow all your love on her shows! It's amazing how wonderful she looks. It just shows how a loving safe home can give these babies everything they need to thrive. You have 2 beautiful girls that adore you:)

Wow! What a difference a good, loving home and some TLC can make! She is beautiful! When I first saw the two of them together I thought the same thing as the other posters.....that they could be sisters.:) You both are so lucky that you found each other. It was meant to be.

Oh my gosh...I'm so shocked at the diffence! The first picture of her just breaks my heart, she was not getting the love and care she so deserved. But, oh my gosh....just look at her now. WOW...she is beautiful! :thumbup: Geez, they do look so much alike and both are gorgeous! It really shows that her mommy just loves her so. :)

Thanks everyone! I love that everyone sees the major differences that I see!

Perrella, I too am shocked at the change. She looks so sad and pityful in the first picture. But she has come into a completely different life. We still have issues to work her through but we have accomplished a lot! She is still very very skitish when men are around (just not DH). She loves my DH! I am so glad that others can see the love that we are giving to her now.

I am not sure. That is the picture they sent me when I called about getting her. I just assumed it was taken that day. If so, she was one year old.

Wow! Amazing difference from the first picture and she is becoming quite a little beauty! It's amazing what TLC will do! Great job! I'm so glad you have her...and she has you!
