I cut off Jesse's floor length hair...and I love it!!

I dress Jesse all the time and was a little tired of braiding or banding his hair to avoid tangles, so I decided to get the clippers out today and give him a cut. I really do love it, putting on and taking off clothing is super easy now!! :p I was so nervous to do this, but don't know why I stressed, his hair grows super fast and I can always grow it back, but probably won't, for quite some time anyway!:)

What a little doll baby! You did a super good job and he has such beautiful hair. My Razael has floor length hair but I just love it and don't really want to cut it. I don't dress them per say, but I do put shirts, sweaters or coats on them when it's cold enough for them to shiver. I know what you mean about putting clothes on one with long hair. Even her tags get all tangles in her hair.

Thanks!!, Soon Jesse will be wearing heavy sweaters and coats, he has to because our winters are brutal, I really wasn't looking forward to dressing him in those with his long hair. In summer It was mainly harness vest lined in silk, which was not a problem, but sweaters are wicked for causing tangles! Every time I look at Jesse now I can't help but burst in to a smile because he looks so dang cute!

OMgosh Darlene....I truly LOVE it! He looks absolutely adorable in this cut and you did a fantastic job! :thumbup: He does look like he feels just great, it has to be so much easier on him too.

Thanks Everyone!! For anyone who loves to dress their babies this is the cut to go with, when dressed they still look like they have a long coat. I may let the skirt grow a little, not sure yet, but this has to be my favorite cut! I think every furbaby looks great sporting this hairdo ;)

I love his haircut! What a great job you did! I keep Maddie's hair on her body very short, but Libby and Faith have the long coats. I would love to clip their hair also. Do you have any advice...how did you go about doing the cut? Jesse is so adorable!

I would have been biting my fingernails before cutting. You did a beautiful job. Jesse is adorable and the new hairdo will work perfectly with his clothes. :)

Jesse looks fabulous! I cut Cali recently to a puppy cut and love it. I was thinking of cutting Roxie down next but didn't ant the puppy cut for her. I think this is perfect. You did an amazing job.

Connie I think starting off cutting the length is the most difficult, it's a lot of hair to get through! I used 1/4 inch attachment on the body only and just shortened his beard. I know the next time I do it, it will be much faster and easier to do. I was so nervous to cut his long hair, but so happy I did, I just love the look, and how carefree it is! :)
