Ahi is 12 weeks old today! :D 3 Attachment(s) My baby is growing up! Well in age anyways. LOL Here is some pics of her I just took. She is still really tiny. She now weighs a whopping 1lb. 4oz. How big do you think she will get? I was hoping for at least 4lbs. more the better. But it doesn't seem to look that way. :) We still love her with all our hearts! |

Gosh, she is so darn cute I can't stand it. The general rule of thumb on growth charts says that you double their weight at 12 weeks, for their adult weight. That being said, it didn't quite hold true for any of my 4, and all turned out a little bigger than expected. |

She's a cutie!!! You never know about weight!! Emma was a little over 2 lbs at 12 weeks and is now 2 years old at 3.4 lbs (still trying to get her to hit 4 lbs!!). lol Carmel on the other hand, he was 1.5 lbs at 12 weeks and is now 2 years old at 6 lbs! :p I LOVE his size!! :D:D:D Ahi just may surprise you. Oh, wet food will help!! We, to this day, still blame it on the wet food we gave him. :cool::p LOL |
Thanks. :) She has to have wet food because it takes her forever to eat dry food. The tiniest dry food is still big and hard for her. She is also a pig. She can eat a lot. But then she can poop a lot too. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she will just be a slow grower or late bloomer. LOL :D |
She is just precious ! Awhh Pyper was tiny about her size at that age.. and now at One year she is about 6 lbs! So you may be surprised =) It took Pyper a very slow gradual time to get there but she did it and I'm so glad! =) xox |

OMG! She is adorable!!! Our first Yorkie, Scruffy (1986-1997), was tiny like that. (When he was a pup, I was terrified I was going to squash him!) I think he only weighed a few pounds at 12 weeks. He ended up hitting the “standard” 7 pounds. |

yeah, i agree, from what i've heard on here, that rule usually doesn't work, so maybe your baby will get to 3/4lbs like you're hoping.. Either way tho she is a stunner! Ziggy says he's calling dibs on her as a girlfriend:cool: and he's only 4 weeks older! |

what a cutie pie!!! I do agree... pups grow up fast! Make sure u take tons and tons of pics! I think your baby would be around 3-3.5 lbs? but that is just a guestimate... some people say the charts were accurate for them, others say the chart was way off... some grow early, some steady grow, some just grow a lot in later stages of their puppy hood! For me, the chart was slightly off. The chart stated that Coco would be 5-5.5lbs but she's about 4.4lbs... I'm hoping for her to get up to 5lbs.... |
