| jawopw | 04-24-2011 12:56 PM | I now realize the shorts won't keep them from mating, thanks to all the responses. We are getting ready to head to Michigan this week for the summer. When I get up there, I am going to ask our vet what he recommends as far as spaying Sassy or neutering Teacup. My husband thinks it would be better to spay Sassy, that way we don't have to worry about all the problems that go with a female in season. My other Yorkie is neutered and my two cocker mixes are spayed. My teacup poodle was originally purchased to stud out, he comes from a 'championship bloodline and he's beautiful. I just never advertised for it. I don't know why. Anyway, he is now 9 years old so I'm not sure if he's too old to breed or have neutered for that matter. I just don't want him mating with my little Sassy girl. I will just have to make sure they are never alone together. At least until I get up to Michigan when I can talk to my vet. Thanks for the info.
Happy Easter to everyone! |
