Second picture is him now, he is 2 years old.

Third picture is Gracie at 12 weeks old.

Hi,
I was looking at the thread and everyone's yorkie color changed. My Diallo however has not. He remained black.
In fact, it appears as if the amount of grey in his face decreases as he got older. He has a small amount of grey on his thigh area but its only noticeable when he is cut short. So, is this normal for a yorkie!?

Here is Diallo at 10 months and at 5 years old.

Yes that is normal for some yorkies. Not all turn silver or blue as they call it. Technically there are four basic colors. Blue and tan, Blue and gold, Black and Tan and Black and Gold. Of course there are chocolates, goldens and partis as well but those main four are what you see when you register them. The standard calls for the blue and gold.

I have a girl right now that is a year old that is still black and gold and I am waiting to see if she changes color. I hope she stays that way though because I love the black and gold.

Her is a picture of my girl at 6 months old. At over a year old her back is still black as can be but the grey on her head is pretty much gone as it all turned gold. Her daddy was black and gold so there is a good chance she will stay this way.

His head color changed, like most do. Most yorkies stay pretty dark on their body or they get some silver.

First one is the morning after I got Sakura she is about 4 months
Second one she is about is 6 months
Last one was taken just last week she is about a year and a half

What a neat thread. I loved looking through all the before and after pics. I am sooooo curious to see what Charlie will look like as an adult. He is almost 4 months now and I'm seeing slight changes.... This gives me a little bit of an idea. lol

First Picture- Gizmo at 11 weeks old 1.8 pounds

Second Picture- Gizmo at 7 months old 3.2 pounds

Gizmo is now 9 months old i need to take another photo but he hasn't changed much in 2 months!

Love seeing all your babies grow up :)

Usaly by 10 months old they wont change much more however I do see a slit diff in the two pics

The first picture is the day I brought Brandy home at 2 months. She weighed 2 pounds.

The second picture is Brandy at 6 months.

The third picture is Brandy at 1 year.

The last picture is Brandy's 2011 Yorkie Talk Valentine Ball picture. She had just gotten her hair cut. It is amazing how fast her hair grows as she is back to looking like she did in her 1 year picture. At 1 year 4 months she weighs 5 pounds and holding.

All of this yorkie yumminess!! All of the babies are sooooo BEAUTIFUL!! As we all know it is impossible not to post photos of our darlings, so here is Pt. 1 of our contribution! Our Baby Teddi ♥ Hopefully I have these labeled in the right order:

1 Teddi @ 12 wks. ~ pic sent from our wonderful breeder
2 @ 5mos. ~ first smiling pic!
3 @ almost 8 mos (April 2nd), last week after the park
4 @ almost 8 mos, last week at the park ~ he loves it!

This is my Chuck; the first picture was taken when he was 9 weeks old, the second one was when he was 6 months old and the last one was taken when he was 1 ½. He’s now two! (I should take some new pictures):rolleyes:
