Lol ya so hard to get them to stay still, when I took photos of Totoro i had just tired him out from playing so he was cooperating :) Kody is so cute! I'm not exactly sure what type of trimmers we would have to use... I hope someone can answer this??

Congrats on your baby! He is precious! My Bella has stuck to the growth chart almost perfectly. She has almost always said between 4 and 4.5 pounds, and she is 4 pounds 2 ozs. She has been right at 4 pounds for almost 3 months now. I think she is done growing, at almost a year. :D

Jett is showing to be a little guy. Maybe 3 pounds full grown, but only time will tell he is 16 weeks today and is 1 pound 8 ozs.

Your baby is adorable! I like his name, too. His coat looks like Marley's and I believe she has a cotton coat.

Yes. They were very similar. The only pic I have of her at around 8 wks (when I got her) is on my cell phone and it won't upload to my computer for some reason. I did post some pics of her from today, they should show up soon I hope. :D

My "little" guy was 3lb 13oz at 12 weeks and tops out at about 10 pounds (he's 4), so . . .

I don't know how accurate those growth charts are, but I have had breeders tell me that some grow up quickly while others put on more weight later. It's not a perfect science.

My Nicco is also cottony coated and we keep him in a puppy cut. The amount of grooming necessary to keep that woolly coat free of mats it just about too much and it didn't seem fair to him. I don't think you can tell for sure about his coat until he is older, though.

True I guess I will just have to wait and see, I looked at some pics of Nicco, he's so handsome! :D Doesn't even look like 10lbs lol

Thank you! Other than his 2 major faults - coat type ad weight - he is a picture perfect yorkie (ya know IMO). He has Rothby & Durrer champs in his pedigree, including grand- and great- grandparents, but I guess his breeder threw those lines off when she bred her line into them. I've often wondered how she even got access to these lines. I won't lie, we were disappointed at first, but now? Whatever!! We love him sooo much!

And you can see in his 8 week photo from the breeder and 12 week photo when we brought him home, his ears weren't up. Did you see his parents? Were their ears up? I would say there is a good chance your little one's will come up too, but you can coax them along by taping them and keeping them trimmed. All that hair is heavy on their little ears!
