Thank you for sharing...I have to set one up for Reesie soon:):). I am going with something smaller, a 3x3 area. I am also getting 2-3 washable pee pads instead of using disposable ones, that's was Reesie is used to from his breeders place. I am also getting a piece of linoleum or something plastic to put on the floor. I have a feeling if I put a blanket over the linoleum, there will be much washing of the blanket. Love Peytons nursery, too cute. I have a brown house like yours. I have tried many beds, crates and this was the first one they both like. Only thing I can suggest (from experiance) watch out for that plastic bin when Peyton starts chewing and knawing. |

Thanks! Yes, the bins will have to come out when he comes home. The more I think about it the more I like getting a piece of linoleum to put down. Let's see....just 12 more days! It's getting so close! I can hardly stand the wait! |

Thank you! I love brown with blue...looks so stylish. :) I am going to probably get the linoleum at Lowes, I am pretty sure they can cut it to any size I need. I'm so excited for him to come home...as the days get closer, I get even more excited. The other night I kept having dreams with Yorkie puppies in them! My husband thought that was pretty funny. JUST 10 days to go....I'm almost in the single digits! ;) |

Just my 2 cents The nursery looks great. The lineolium works good. I went to a local carpet outlet store and asked for a remnant of lineolium, the size of the bottom of the X-pen (ours was 4X4). they even cut it straight for me. ha! then I had my dad cut me a piece of plywood the same size. we glued the lineolium to the plywood and set the X-pen up over it. I put plastic between the plywood and the lineolium.It worked great the other thing was recommended for me with my male with this same setup was to take a milk-jug anf fill it with water. Place it well away from the sides of the X-pen.(on the peepad) He will lift his leg on the jug and not the mesh side of the X-pen,which could cause urine to get on your rug. Just some ideas. Just 8 days!!!! Maybe one or two less, if he is ready to come home then. My breeder is awesome and will not send him home unless he is 100% ready...that is why I love her! I just can't wait! She sent me a few new pics...I can't post them because I am on my iPad and am not at home. But, needless to say, Peyton is absolutely adorable with the sweetest expressions. I just love him sooooooooooo much. Can't wait to tell him and show him how much! She said he has a very loving personality and I honestly got tears in my eyes when I was reading her email the other day. Hurry, hurry, hurry....time needs to go quick! |

Ahhh! You did a fantastic job on Peyton's nursery. How cute is that! I love your decorating and all the little touches. That little boy is going to be so loved and so happy in your home...and he should feel like a king with his beautiful area you did for him. I am anxiously awaiting for Saturday too! |
Thank you! I am going to work on the flooring today. Yesterday I got him his very own food and water dish for the nursery. I'm going to put the finishing touches on it these next few days! Just FOUR more days! Can almost start counting the hours...;) Oh sweet little boy Peyton...you have no idea how much your momma loves you!!!! |
