No bows for Snoopy... Love that first pic! |
understandable if he's a boy! lol, thanks : ) |
Tallulah had two bows in her hair for the first time on Saturday, after her grooming. They lasted about 15 minutes. I'm not so much on the topknot -- guess the aversion is due to overtight ponytails on me when I was a little girl. But I do think the two bows - one next to each ear - are adorable. |
i wish i could do that to my girl, but she would never let me. the pony tails usually stay in her hair for about an hour and then she scratches and shakes them out :P |
1 Attachment(s) Two of mine do. Zada kept scratching hers out and always looked like a sheep dog so I keep her head cut short on top now, but here is a picture taken last week of Azrael and Razael at doggie play date wearing Haloween bows. |
too cute love the halloween bows! they are so different looking from each other but adorable! |
No bows here, or clothes, either, for that matter. My girl is a nudist! |
1 Attachment(s) Here's Baylee wearing her el-natural look with a bow of course ;) We love bows & clothes! :D |
Aww, cute pics!!! I used to put bows on my girl but she hates them so I gave up. My two boys actually love bows, clothes, etc., but my partner will only let me get away with t-shirts for them:rolleyes: |
2 Attachment(s) Roxie wears bows all the time, Cali and Nikki have top knots but Roxie takes out any bows I put in within 10 seconds. Pixie has her bangs short. |

I tried and tried on Ben. As soon as you let him down with a bow in his hair, he runs around to find something to rub against (usually the sofa or a chair) to remove it. If he has trouble, Candy is all too glad to lend a hand and pull it out for him. I finally gave up and last month had a visor cut so that the hair was not always in his face. I am hoping so much that little Annie will allow a bow to be kept in her hair! I thought she was too little yet, but looks like you found a way to put in an early bow. I may have to give it a try. I do have some tiny bows. |
2 Attachment(s) Rhia is my little wild child that would rather shiver in her birthday suit than wear a sweater or a bow, but I do have some pics! The groomer has taken a liking to putting her hair up so I always snap pics before she annihilates the little bow. :) |
3 Attachment(s) Sophie in her bow....we LOVE bows!!! |
Pyper is too gorgeous! Looove the pink bow! I'll try get some pics up of my Holly ASAP! |
After trying to get it out a few times ;) http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/pic...ictureid=92414 And this one :D http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/pic...ictureid=92413 We have more bows, just need the hair to grow out some more...and we're loaded up with his winterwear  |
awh i love everyone's post & pictures ! and trust me i never thought i would be able to get a bow in pyper's hair but i usually give her a chew toy or something to distract her from me putting the bow in her hair for it to work - other wise shes flailing around lol - and we dont always dress her - my boyfriend thinks its mean! lol but shes so tiny when she goes for walks i have to put the sweater on because she just shakes if its rly windy out |
2 Attachment(s) Yes! Mine is a boy and sometimes he even wears pigtails with TWO bows!! Hehe. I can't help it I just love topknots. I think paddy might have been hoping for a sister with long hair so he could have a break but he got a short haired chi instead. :) |

ha funny you should say he's too tiny. He often towers over other super tiny yorkies even though he is within standard size. He's around 6.5-7lbs. Though he went up a bit during our first winter in chicago. The first time paddy went swimming was actually at a dog meet-up in nyc at a daycare where they had an indoor heated pool. (fancy i know lol) They don't love swimming, especially if its cold so it was funny when they had them race because you could tell they were motivated to get OUT of the pool. Then I bought him a kiddie pool to keep him cool in the summer and he figured out that if he sat in it he felt good. So he started trying to sit in every puddle he found in the dog park in the summer. Then we moved here and took him in the dog beach and he learned to fetch toys out of lake michigan! He won't just go in but if I am in there with his toy he will swim a little bit out to get it. But when it gets too deep he turns around. Its sooooo cute. I have to stop forgetting to bring my camera on all our outings. I think he still doesn't really love swimming but he is so ball obsessed that he will overcome ANY obstacle to get to it. ugh..can I ever give a short answer lol. Good luck with your pup! |

hehe really well from pics it looks like he is tiny - i just keep asking everyone i am just so anxious to know how big pyper is going to get. i've looked at the charts and stuff but you can just never know. shes about 2.5 right now and almost 3.5 months. (a ball of energy though! we call her hyper pyper hahah) cool! a heated pool would be a great way to start - im in canada though so i dont know if there are any dog meets like that - although it would be really cool, i would love for her to get in the pool - when we gave her her first bath at about 8 wks, i held her up just above the water and she started padelling it was way to cute :) |
1 Attachment(s) Cabo sporting his blue bow!! :) |
