| Meet Spike Hi, This is my little fur baby Spike. He is six months old. He will be neutered next week. They will also remove some baby teeth at the same time as his new teeth are coming in and the baby teeth are in the way. Have your yorkies had to have teeth removed for this reason? Ceilidhe |

| Hi, and welcome to YT! Your baby Spike is adorable!! My furbabies haven't had that experience (yet), but I know plenty of others have. My puppy actually had a couple loose ones that my vet pushed out with his finger. Apparently, they were very loose! |

| Wow You were very lucky that the teeth came out so easily! The neuter surgery and the teeth removal are estimated to cost us $1,500.00 OUCH! It's a good thing we love him so much! |

| Spike is super cute! Having teeth extracted is incredibly normal. In fact, one of the things recommended here on YT is a 3 in one procedure. When your baby gets neutered, have teeth extracted also, and microchipped. That way, he is only put under once. Remember to get blood work done before hand to make sure Spike is in tip top shape.

| He sure is cute! Ziva had 7 teeth removed when she was spayed(at 6 months). Worked out great she is just over a year and her teeth are perfectly straight- I don't think they would have been without the removal. I expected her to be quite sore but the gums actually had less pressure without the double teeth and they healed up within the day!( my vet is sooo nice , he charged $3 each =$21.00! ($150 for spay +meds, less than $200 altogether) |

| Welcome to YT, you and Spike will love it here. I only paid $200.00 for neutering and to have 2 teeth removed. I can't imagine $1500.00. Good Luck

| Spike is a handsome little man!! I was lucky with Raley's teeth. He lost all of his baby teeth on the bottom, on his own, at the same time. His permanent teeth are now in and straight! Before they came in I called him my little old man because when he would look up at us and yawn all we could see was gums! Good luck!

| Old and new teeth Hi, Spike is gorgeous, about teeth removal, my older Yorkie had both old and new teeth. She lost her last one at the age of 13 months old. My younger one is 12 months old and still have three old teeth. My vet told me that since small dogs aren't very good with sleeping medicines I should wait till they become 14 months old. I think he proved to be correct so I will wait with my younger one since she doesn't look like she has any trouble with her old teeth. Maria |
