My nosey girl Chanel just cannot STAND the back sliding door closed when I clean my Tile Floors ......my husband got this shot...she was chattering away like I was really going to let her in just so she could RIDE the mop :D

She looks like a human little girl standing like that and peering in, LOL! I have to put mine out when I mop and vaccume too :p Where do you get those little dresses like she is wearing???

THAT adorable harness Dress came from Brooke at Imapreciouspup.com...I got it on clearance....it's perfect for Chanel..... and then Annadoodle here...Melissa....was sooooooo sweet and sent Cheri the matching dress - So now they both match when they go out :D THANK you again Melissa :)

I'll have to check that site out!!! Clearance is my middle name :D I'm real funny about having ours match when we go out too. At Petsmart I found all the boys matching shirts..same style but each a different color..and they even had one in the same style but in pink for BItsy! We just got to be stylin when we go out, LOL :p

Villette, do you dress Cheri and Chanel everyday? How do you keep them from matting when they wear clothes? Also, didn't you post once that Chanels hair is sort of cottony? That is really supposed to mat badly. Just looking for tips here! BTW that picture is adorable!!!! :D

Nope - they go naked most days - it's hot in Houston & they really only have a few things so normally they're saved for special occasions.

I use Ice on Ice spray under her arms and tummy to prevent matts...but yes ...she is cotton coated and has ALOT of hair...so sometimes things are too tight on her from all the hair ! lol - she loves wearing clothes and just struts around in them when she's dressed .....besides - yorkies just look so CUTE dressed up - it's hard not to dress her everyday...

LOL...Does Sparky Jump and hang on ? Chanel will get ON my mop and man - when I have dirty water or am trying to clean the tile - the last thing I need is to be hoisting a yorkie around while I mop - she is NOT a feather...and then there is the tiny little paw prints to deal with...

She DOES help me buff the floors with a towel though...she even has her own Buffing song ....when I sing it she goes NUTS and knows to jump on the towel and do her dance.

Villette, you have the most beautiful, most adorable dogs! And I appreciate SO much your posting pictures of your cottony baby a while ago. Since all the books, etc. say cotton coat is BAD, I was a bit disappointed about my girl's coat even though now she is SO much prettier than her silky sister. Since I saw your pictures, I'm delighted with her cottoniness. I LOVE fluffy hair!

hahaha I'm Glad Chanel Cotton Pickin Little Self helped in your feelings :) I knew when she was really young she had more hair than I expected and one of the things I do to keep her 'fluff' down is run a dematting comb thru her hair about once a week - it pulls out all the dead hair and keeps it laying flat.....just a tip from one cotton coated mom to another....

I actually love her hair myself...Cheri is easier but I'm always very careful with her fine hair and when she gets a tangle...it's HARD to get out....
