LOL, I was WONDERING where my first post went!!!!! I meant to create a new thread to announce the winner, but I mistakenly made it as a reply here!

I was FREAKING OUT because I thought I'd lost it entirely!

Anyhow, I have made a new thread and that would be a more appropriate place to comment.

I'm glad everyone had so much fun with this. Your comments kept me smiling for days and made it all worthwhile.

BellaDonna, I was surprised at the number of people who DIDN'T vote for their own dogs! I fully expected everyone to, that's why I made the first vote worth 2 points, but even some of the top 15 didn't vote for their own dogs at all! And about 5 of the people who entered dogs missed the vote. Yet despite all that, every dog entered got at least one vote, and the vasst majority got multiple votes. Truly impressive.

The more I think about it, this contest really needs a better prize than a forthcoming certificate!, so Lou please PM me your address so I can send you one that seems to fit: Some BOOTIES!

Yes! I've searched for years to find the perfect bootie, and these are it. Same kind some sled dogs wear. They don't last forever because they're made of fleece, but I find dogs tolerate them much better because they're so light and they do their job of keeping their pads off the cold snow.
