Sara Jane's animated Avatar OK! I did it! Thank you very much. I just used the Photoscape program. :) I already had the pictures resized using my Paint Shop Pro program and knew where to find them. Very simple. I'm happy. Thanks again. Quote:

Sara Jane's animated Avatar Yes! I did it! :) I didn't use the PSP program though. I couldn't find the "other Jasc products" under File that you mentioned. I had already resized my pictures and saved them in a folder where I could find them so I just used the Photoscape program to animate them. Simple as can be! What a great program! Thanks again for all your help. Quote:

2 Attachment(s) Great job, I'm impressed! She's such a little cuddly doll! Just a couple of hints, as you can see in this picture, the arrow points to several options, and changing these when making your avatar gives you different results, you may know this, but lots of people overlook it. Attachment 293754 Below is the PSP program, and here is where you find animation shop, it gives you many more options, such as setting individual frame times, and frame sizes, and making some of the avatar transparent. Animated anavars No, I didn't realize you could do that. I made one using the fading to background color and it uses up over 71 KB. I can only use up to 20 as I understand it. What version of PSP do you have? Mine just doesn't show that option as far as I can tell. Mine is Paint Shop Pro Photo XI verson 1120. |
Mine is Paint Shop Pro 9. They make photo versions that are designed more for editing photo, but don't come with the animation shop. I know you can buy it separately. The fading option in Photoscape just uses more photos, and where you had one photo, it use 20 or more, but it makes the file size to large to use as an avatar. Paint shop's animation program gives many more options for compressing the file size, but even with that, it's hard to get over 5 pictures in an avatar and still keep the quality. Donating members can get no more than 8 pictures. I made my avatar with PSP 9 and it allows you to open a movie file, and turn it into a gif file, but the most pictures I could use was 8. |
Paint Shop Pro OK. That is why I couldn't find the link you were talking about. Thanks a bunch. :) |
