I hid the smoochie lips in the back of my closet. I didnt want to throw them out as I *hope* this weekend they can be fixed!

Anyhoo, Sam was being nosey (imagine that) and found them!

I know! We have all been looking, just find ones that squeak. He plays with those but he tries to make them smooch.:p

Yanno I read your question again..lol.. yes they used to make the mwah sound, continously but they broke. It was mwah mwah mwah mwah kinda sound.

Have you tried the voice boxes from build a bear? If they don't have the sound you can record it. :)

Twalla, please read carefully what I am about to type -- I am VERY serious here -- you have the makings of a very successful children's book. You have all of the illustrations, and most of the verbage, now all you need to do is to add a "life lesson". And you will be a children's author. Believe me, in all of the years that I worked in an elementary school library, and all of the children's books I have read -- I KNOW the makings of a successful beginning/emerging reader. The title of course should be:

Sam and the Smoochy Lips

Oh my gosh, that is cute. Can you fix them? I know when they first "went down", I looked all over the net for ya, and my local Petsmart...nada. So sad. There has got to be a way to bring them back to their former GLORY!

Thanks for the heads up on these pics -- would not have wanted to miss Sam trying so valiantly to make his lips smooch! :D I think Chattiesmom is right, you could have a career here! The ending of your book could be the final solution to go to Build-A-Bear and record your own smoochie sounds on one of their voice boxes as Kimberly suggested. In between, you could have all of your YT friends from around the world looking for new smoochie lips -- Even a couple who sent squeaky lips that just did not quite sate poor Sam.

I can't wait to see what happens in February when Petsmart stocks them again. You may have smoochie lips coming at your from all over! :kiss2: In fact....maybe that could be the ending of the book.

I kinow that they aren't "lips" but Mary Meyer stuffed toys has some little 5" animals that make that noise..... I know what "smooch" sound you are talking about!

I have to agree with Cindy, it would make a really good book. Poor Sam.Everytime i see the term "smoochie lips"...i think of him immediately.
