Newbie here. I have 2 furbabies. 1 yr old AKC 3lb Chihuahua (from Arkansas) named Hannah....and 7 week old AKC Yorkie (from Indiana) Miley. Just wanted to share a few pics of my pupcakes :):animal36

**and no I dont have a thing for black and tan dogs lol...my friends ask me that all the time because Hannah AND Miley are both the same color at the moment haha.**

haha I always wonder if people will make the connection in their names lol. I guess that's what you get when you have 8 and 10 yr old girls name the dogs :) My girls are HUGE Hannah Montanna fans...so we have Hannah and Miley :) :p...and as they say "The Best of Both Worlds" Hannah the Chihuahua belongs to the 10 yr old and the 8 yr old has Miley the Yorkie puppy. The dogs match the girls personalities etc. My 8 yr old Destiny loves to do her hair, play dress up, make up the works....so I think a Yorkie suits her well. She will have her dressed and in bows 24/7 when she gets older. My 10 yr old Mariah is more of the simple type. No make up, no fuss over her hair...just get up and go type of gal. The Chi has less upkeep and they are very similiar in personalities.

I already like this place. Such nice people and BEAUTIFUL fur babies :) I could spend hours going through your albums looking at those precious faces. You all have beautiful furchildren!

Welcome to YT.........you certainly have some beautiful fluffs. I have a long-haired chi grandbaby that I just adore. She is a dark chocolate brown with some white markings. We love to babysit her; she is so much fun! I am sure you have a lot of fun with your fluffs! Thanks for sharing!

As far as Miley's age and why I have her already...My friend is the breeder. She has been raising AKC Yorkies for many many years. She normally doesnt let puppies leave until they reach 2 lbs or around 12-16 weeks old. Miley's mom however didnt have much milk and being a CLOSE friend to the breeder she allowed me to bring Miley and her mom home when Miley was only 3 weeks old. My friend just found out her health is getting very bad and she only has a handful of Yorkies but is cutting down drastically on her dogs and breeding for that matter. Her husband has had several surgeries in the last few months and since Miley's mom wasnt doing too well with feeding Miley I talked her into letting me bring Miley and her mom home with me :)

Im a full time mother/wife and Im home 24/7 so I have the extra time to look out for Miley and her mom. So I had the wonderful experience of playing supplemental mom to Miley since her mother couldnt completely feed her by her self. Miley's mom is being spayed soon and sent to her forever home. Her mom has had 2 litters, this being the second and Miley was an only pup. She is a sweety too...and is just under 4 lbs in weight and quite adorable but her new family has been waiting for her to wean Miley so that she can come home with them to live. :( I will miss her because we have gotten attached to her in the past month but I know she will have a wonderful home with another little 3 lb female Yorkie.

Miley is still nursing on her mom but mom isnt making much milk these days and Miley has been eating canned dog food since about 4 weeks old. She tends to sleep with my Chihuahua Hannah more so than her mom now so I think in another week or two she will be ok with her mom leaving. Sorry for the long post just wanted to clarify that ;)

Well you sure are doing something right. :D Congratulations. Your babies are just adorable!

What beautiful babies! I am so excited for you (and your girls!) I hope that Hannah and Miley become best friends! It sounds like they are well on their way. I am glad that you were able to bring Mommy and baby into your home so you could give extra care to them. From my knowledge, females should not be bred unless they are at least 5lbs b/c of complications that can arise in pregnancy, etc (that's what I have learned from YT). I have no idea if Mommy's problems have to do with her being smaller than that or not.. ??? Anyway, I am glad that you are on YT and your pictures are just precious!

Hannah and Miley are doing great and are becoming best gal pals. Hannah just plays a little rough but thats because she is a tad larger than Miley at the moment but Miley will probably end up being larger than her in the end so Miley will probably get her back in the long run haha. Heres new pics of my gals.

Im in Owensboro KY...its real close to Evansville IN and Louisville KY.

Heres more pics of my gals taken tonight. As you can see they already love each other. Just have to figure out who is going to be the dominant female of the duo later on. I wouldnt know on the breeding and weights etc. I do know my friend has been breeding Yorkies for 15+ yrs and all of her dogs are between 4 and 5 lbs. She has had puppies end up being 2 lbs full grown...and always sends them to PET only homes because of their size. Miley's mom had 2 pups the first litter and had no problem with milk etc...and this litter she wasnt meant to be bred but the male climbed the baby gate and they tied up one time she said and she had hoped she wasnt pregnant but she ended up having Miley. Mom is about 4-4 1/2 lbs right now..might be 5 lbs before being bred but she goes up and down in weight as she is a picky eater.

The pink...well thats my daughter's bed and comforter. Hannah sleeps in the bed with my 10 yr old...and Miley and her mom sleep inside a large puppy/exercise pen in my 8 yr old's room. Miley is HER dog and she throws a fit because she isnt big enough to sleep with her yet. They have a dog bed inside the pen and a crate with lots of toys etc for Miley to play with...along with the pee pad etc in the pen.

EVERYTHING in my girls rooms are pin ;) Thanks and yes I guess the black/tan does stand out on that bright pink cover.

Such SWEET babies!! WELCOME TO YT!!! We have a female Yorkie and a female Chi. They spend their days fighting for a spot on my hubby's lap. We also have a male Boxer who is laid back...makes for a loving bunch! ENJOY them both, as it seems as though you already are. The pics of the parents are adorable as well. I wish the momma dog all the best...
