Boy + bully stick = heaven 4 Attachment(s) Here's Buster enjoying his first new bully stick in a couple of weeks, and he's making the most of every moment. Enjoy! |
MMmmmm good!:p |
Oh, he looks like he's enjoying it very much! Great pictures!! |
wow, what a great camera! those look professional. Very cute |
They are some great shot...speaks volumes!!! Busy Busy busy:rolleyes: |
Love those Bully Sticks.... |
Does anybody know what age they can start on bully sticks? And what size? |
I'd say three months is probably a good age. That's when they start teething, and when bully sticks can be particularly helpful. We give Buster 8" ones, and he likes them a lot (as you can tell!). |
Oh my, tasty....Buster has nice white teeth! Nice camera + talent = beautiful professional looking pictures. :D |

Great pictures, excellent photography. Of course the subject is exceptional too. My boys loooove their bully sticks also. |
2 Attachment(s) Thanks for all the nice comments about our special little guy! Here are a couple more just for fun: |
What kind of camera is this?! |
It's a Canon Digital Rebel XTi and a 50mm f/1.8 lens. It's a great combination for amateur photographers, but the lens is really the key to good looking photos. At $80, the 50mm f/1.8 is probably the cheapest lens you can buy, but it takes great photos. |
Great pictures! Love the shallow depth of field! |
Aww, he is so cute with his Bully Stick! |

I'm really curious because I want to purchase a new camera soon... so it's pretty easy to use? So you buy the camera and then buy the lenses separately? |
Also is very bulky or just moderately? |
What fabulous pictures!!! And your baby has such super white teeth! Do you do anything special to them? He's so very handsome!!! :aimeeyork |
Great pix! The little boy is not too shabby either! lol He is cute and his teeth are so white! Great job! My two haven't had bully sticks in a while because I have one that gets mean with them. Well, he gets very possessive. It's just an ugly scene. |
Bully sticks are the best! |

There are some trade-offs, though. First, the whole rig will run you around $500, which is probably at least double what you'd pay for a good P&S. Second, unless you get one of the most expensive ones, you'll have to take pictures using the viewfinder, not the screen on the back. Third, because you can't preview your image on a screen, you have to know a little bit about auto-exposure and autofocus to get the most out of your camera even it the automatic settings. Fourth, the camera is bulkier. But, despite all these trade-offs, it's more than worth it to get a DSLR. It is absolutely impossible to take pictures like the ones I've posted with a P&S (i.e., with the real blurry background). To do that, you need a lens with a large aperture (f/2.8 or better) and P&S cameras simply are physically unable to offer that. Let me know if you need any more info, and thanks for the compliments! |
