Please remember though that dogs are meant to run around and play and be dogs, and not just carried round like a toy.

The lil' ones run and play just like the big ones. I really don't think most (mature) people take them along as a "toy"....they just enjoy being together, where ever. If big dogs were as portable, their owners would bring them along more often, too, as we all love our pets!! .

Well according to the AKC, a Yorshire Terrier's weight "Must not exceed seven pounds". So being "teeny tiny" must be somewhat normal for a Yorkie? I hope so, my Missy's pretty tiny!

I've always been concerned/ worried/upset that Brittney has a yorkie, and now you let me know that Whitney has one too...LOLLLLLLLLL

I think Donnie and his yorkie win the prize for cutest couple...

I have a teeny weeny..I wanted a smaller yorkie too so she could come everywhere with me..not saying the larger ones can't of course! but she's very portable! lol

she's also allowed to be a real dog too..she runs free everyday and gets quite dirty and muddy! (she has a long coat!) I'm pretty sure most of us adults here do allow their little ones to be dogs and not carried around like toys!
