**NEW HERE ** 9 Weeks -HELP NAME ME? 4 Attachment(s) Hi Everyone, I am happy to have found this board ... We just got our first Yorkie and Love him to Pieces! We are looking for a name for him, he is 9 weeks and really small about 6 1/2" tall from the ground to the tip of his ears and weighs about 1.5 lbs he's fat for his size! (is there anything I can do about that at this age?) He's a Super SPUNKY puppy and is loveable when he's tired.. Any Suggestions?? This is our first Yorkie.. so can you give your opinions on him? Thanks! annamalyssa So Far the Names we have looked into are: Bandit or Bandeeto Chuey Gucci Lil Man Wicket ( from Star Wars lol ) Dubee Sugarwolf None seem to fit him right... Any Suggestions or is one of those a favorite to you? |
Theodore looked just like that....now he's nine months and the top of his head is all silver....LENO (as in Jay Leno) may fit him in a few months' time. Have fun with your new puppy. |

Do you have pictures of Theodore? I would love to see him! .. Leno is really cute! I love the name London but hubby won't buy it lol.. If I had it my way his name would be Louie , Jefferson, London or something like that... Thank you! I am not sure how a Yorkie is "Supposed" to look but I did some research before buying one and he looked like a good representation of the breed. Cares4Dogs - I like Dubee too it's still in the running along with Bandeeto and Wicket.. |

haha Elvis is too cute.. he's definately a lil heartbreaker already!! I wonder ... will his color change a lot? is there any way to tell to what or is there no way to tell.. you just wait and see? I see a lot of yorkies that keep their brows and stuff real distinct and others have an all tan head almost or a gray body and some a blue colored body and some stay black.. just wondering I don't really care either way. |

Thank you for the warm welcome and all the replies! I appreciate all the comments and suggestions .. Ashley.... u are absolutely correct! I forget babies carry "baby fat" .. Lindsay ... He is definately becoming Royalty here very quickly! We have another dog that is over 100Lbs.. and he's the King but this little guy is definately a prince! AMD .. I am loving Kingston too! it is really cute he needs a name like that! i'm gonna throw a few of these at hubby and see what he says... Ohh wicket is a good name. My pups name is Ewok. How about Chewie? He is really cute, I like the cobby. My Ewok is rather slender and long limbed. Your pup also looks like a Teddy Bear. So cute! |

Well I love the name London because that is what I named my Yorkie... But some of the other names I debated on were Polo, Canon, Blaze. Hope these help..:) |

name for puppy hi, your puppy is adorable, it looks like my kiwi which I would of like to name gizmo (remember the gremblin movie) the problem is I think gizmo is a he name, maybe you would like it. |

Hi Both of my boys are quite big for yorkies, but if i had one of the really small ones I think I'd call him Bijou - as in 'elegantly small'. :) |

THANK YOU ALL for your kind welcomes and sweet comments on my baby boy! We have finally decided that we are going to call him ...... :animal-pa GUCCI :animal-pa It fits him well... it was just the name that "Stuck" none of the others did.... I tried so many of them! they were all fantastic and personally I loved Dubee as well but it just didn't fit him. He doesn't know his name yet but I hope soon he will! AGAIN THANK YOU ALL FOR THE KIND RESPONSES!! you are all so sweet. I love this place already and have learned so much in just a short time, We had a LONG week with the little munchkin as he is quite the crazy one!! I wouldn't have gotten through a lot of it without this board! |
