Food thief in the house busted

Earlier this week, I got home and found that one of the dogs had opened a large plastic container of Yorkie food and rifled through the baggies inside that contained Jack's kibble. The pieces are too large for him, so I put them in a plastic baggie and crush them with a hammer.

I suspected Rusty. He's the glutton of the house, and he was acting awfully suspicious.

Well, tonight I got home and found the culprit -- wearing the evidence! I suspect accomplices, but no one else is talking.

(And, yes, the food is going into a closet starting now. This could have ended badly.)

Awwwwwww......... the little guy was hungry!!.... besides, it is winter time now and those extra pounds make great insulation!! :D Don't be too hard on the thief......... he is just to cute to scold!!

Thanks for the laughs, you guys. My first reaction was sheer panic because all I saw was plastic and dog. Who knows how long he was walking around in that?

Ok, I think I have composed myself now! This is just way to funny. Although, I can understand that moment of panic upon finding this. :rolleyes: But thankfully his nose made it through both sides of the bag!

It really is just so funny when "they" are caught having done something and they just look at you with the "WHAT???" look. :rolleyes:

No Way!!!! Jack wouldn't do that. :p I think he just wanted the plastic to wear around his little butt because he's naked!!! He just couldn't get the bag pulled over his head all the way!!!!

Thanks for sharing! I needed a good laugh. The most innocent looking face in the house! So glad he is ok, I can never believe what my 2 do. Yorkies are the most curiously funny little babies ever. Our Tuffey (age 1) NEVER stops. I put the toys back in the toy basket and he goes immediately to put them back where he had them. It's a no win! Cookie, Sophia& Tuffey

Ok, Mike, speaking on behalf of the "innocent until PROVEN guilty" theory exactly where is your proof? Just because precious Jack is wearing a plastic baggie isn't proof. It is only circumstancial evidence. Have you interrogated any eyewitnesses?

Give the poor kid a break. I bet Rusty gobbled up the kibble and poor starving Jack was just licking up the crumbs..... :lol tears..... yea that's probably EXACTLY what happened.
