Thank you all so much for your kind welcome back notes! :D I am so sorry to have been gone so long. I never meant to "leave" YT, I promise!

Over the past year-and-a-half, I've been through a really painful divorce. It's sad, awful, heartbreaking...but I can honestly say that BECAUSE OF IT, I've become a better person. I've evaluated what's important about life and though I am the "same person" I've always been, I'm smarter, more capable, more independent & more self-assured!

So it's ok! It's not a fresh-wound anymore either, and I'm REALLY happy to have found a stride in my single-life, in my career, in my home, in my faith & in my friendships. It's great!

And my Sully, well, he's still my best little sidekick! As a reward to myself for coping through this hard time so well, I bought a new convertible back in May! Sully LOVES it! (And YES he wears a harness/seatbelt religiously!)

Here are a few recent photos of me and Sully, and my faahhhbulous new car (2008 Mazda MX-5, GT).

Hi Val glad to see you back. You were missed. I kept up with Sully and his adventures on myspace. ;) I need my Sully fix.

The last pic is the best he is a convertible dog. :thumbup: He should have his chicken costume on in the car. lol

Oh he did, on Halloween, we went to my office with Sully in costume (head-piece and all!)

We got some laughs in traffic. :rolleyes:

Why is it that dogs HATE it when we blow in their faces but they'll stick their heads out of a car window going 50 miles/hr and LOVE it?????

but glad to hear your doing well now.

I am so very sorry to hear about your divorce. :(

You look very happy! I'm sure it's been a long road, but it looks like you're coming along quite well. Love the new car! Sully is a doll, as always!

OMG VAL!!!!!! You are an oldie but a goodie if you know what I mean..hehe..We're from that older YT member group a lot of which have pulled disappearing acts. I'm so happy to see you back! I've missed you! So sorry to hear about your divorce. I know you guys hit a rough patch a while back but didn't think it would come to this. I'm glad that you've worked through it and are moving forward. RECLAIM IT ALL GIRLFRIEND!!! I'm sorry for your hard times but sometimes that makes us become better people. How's the photography business, you still in it? I see Sully is just a happy clam..lol..How's Penny? I'll never forget the video of Penny licking Sully and massaging him. Still my favorite video of all time on YT..lol..Good to have you back.

Wow Val, I am so glad you are back. I left a little while also and when I came back there are so many new fun members. Glad to see and old friend come back. I am so jealous about your car!! Sorry about your divorce, you are still young and beautiful and this should be the best years of your life. Looks like you have realized that and made a nice purchase. You still got your best friend Sully so keep on enjoying life together. Look forward to seeing more pictures of Sully!!

Welcome back, Val! I went MIA for a little while too. When I came back I started looking at profiles of names I remembered to see if they were still around. Yours was one of them. I always enjoyed Sully's pix. Lovin' that care too! ;)

Hi Val - glad to see you back. Sorry to hear about your divorce, but it sounds like you have everything under control and a new lease on life. You look gorgeous as ever and the photo of Sully with the wind in his hair riding in the convertible is priceless!!!!
