Since having her picture taken by a "professional" turned out so disappointing (not her, the backdrops and props...yuck!), me and the bf decided to just take them ourselves! Much, much better!!

P.S. I hope you guys think they're just as cute as I do! She has changed so much since we got her in June!! Watching her color change has been so amazing! (She's 6 mo. old.)

I should probably say, her name is just Bella, but I call her my little Bella-rina....that's why she's a ballerina for her first Halloween! It just seemed fitting!

I like the pro photos -- she looks very sweet, and is so beautiful. But I LOVE your photos with the halloween backdrop. She looks more alert, playful and wow, what a pumpkin. Is that prop candy? Whatever it is she's a very very well-behaved girl to sit pretty for you and not pounce on the pumpkin :D

Nope, those are not props! I used different dog treats/cookies off the treat bar at Petco....treats she NEVER gets! She was very interested in them and even managed to snag one before I could stop her!! Against my better judgement (as far a treats go) I used those same treats to hold her attention and gave her teeny bits ever couple of pics or so. I thought she did VERY well, especially with treats right in front of her little face!! Yay, Bella! :) We actually took all 4 of those pics (I don't have the Petco ones, but ours turned out much better anyway)....the brown one is actually a blanket from Linens N' Things (which is going out of business btw...pretty nice sale going on!)
