Hi Tammy........haven't chatted in a while! Glad I found this thread....Abby looks really cute with her short cut (though I love that last picture you posted also). She's got a really sweet little face :p

Would you believe I've actually toyed with the idea of getting Toby's hair cut a bit shorter :eek:; not sure if I would be brave enough to go as short as Abbys, but then what would be the point, I guess. My issues with his long hair are, ewwww, when he lifts his leg to potty he gets the hair hanging on the sides wet, AND he also has a cottony/silky mix to his coat and when I do put shirts on him, he will get mats at his arm pits. So, I'm in the debating stage of getting it cut; it'll probably happen somewhere down the road. Halle's hair on the other hand is silky straight, so I'm not even thinking about a short cut for her......though she probably could use a professional trim/clean up.:D

When Denise said the guys were calling Bella a bobblehead...I know what they meant now! Hahaha, Abby's head looks so much bigger than her little body.

Here's some pics....we had this done on Saturday and I'm just now getting around to posting the pics.
I love it Tammy ! She is too cute with that cut. Better yet , she'll be a lot happier with the less grooming it will take to look after her.I love that look "the bobble head " it's a very typical yorkie look.Also it will be much easier if you like to put clothes on her :p

I agree. She was cute with the longer hair but she is adorable with the puppy cut. I love it! And it dounds like the less time spent grooming her the more time you can spend just loving her.

I love her new cut. Chloe has a puppy cut. She has fur like cotton and she gets matted really easy.

Abby wears clothes nearly everyday, so it will be much nicer for her and me. I had the groomer shave under her arms because that's where most of the matting occured. Her little belly is bare! :eek: Yep, the bobblehead look is cute! She's our baby and she really looks more like a baby now.

I cut Daisy's hair shorter yesterday too and of course this morning it's very chilly! They need pants on! Poor little bare hineys ;)

Rose, you could just have a groomer or yourself trim up Toby's underside. That way he would still have his full coat and avoid the pee pee fur. When Peanut was still with us, I kept a box of baby wipes by the back door and always wiped his boy parts and undercarriage off when we came in from a potty break. Peanut didn't have nearly the coat that Toby does though.

Again, thank you for all the sweet comments. I think my head is swelling :D

How's that new granddaughter of yours? Guess what? I just found out that my daughter is going to have a baby!!! :D We think she's due around June. I'm so excited!!! :cheer:
