Oh, good! I was going to ask you where Hot Rod's life jacket was (LOL!).....then I saw it! It looks like he had a great time. So, where did you hang out for 11 days? Isn't it fun motoring with other boaters? We've done that a few times. What kind of boat do you have? | We have a Pro Kat. It is a catamaran style of fishing boat. The strange thing is that neither hubby or I fish! Hubby sells boats but we couldn't get the type that he sells because we can't get into our creek with one. We needed outboard motors since our creek is so shallow-darn!
Hubby introduced me to boating and it has been wonderful. We have made so many cool friends as I am sure you know all about. Boaters are such a great community of people. Boating is definitely up there for us. And we are so thrilled that our baby loves it too! He has really taken to the water.
We also had Hot Rod in without his jacket to make sure he knew what to do without his jacket on-just in case. He is watched like a hawk by us and the other boaters.:)
This year we didn't really as far we normally did, we just tooled around locally-the furthest run was probably 1 1/2 hours. With the price of fuel we took it easy. We have run as far as 5 hours away and took our time slowly coming back home over a 10 day period. The Chesapeake Bay is a wonderful place to boat, there are so many destinations to go to within a short run. Do you get much opportunity to boat? Sorry for the long response but as you can tell, I love boating!!:D |
