I could not keep up with his thick coat, I would brush and brush him and he hates to be brushed, I could just not keep up with his mats. So over the weekend I gave him a trim! Ha! The scissors won! :D:rolleyes:

I really like this cut, he is so soft and he looks so smaller now!

Thanks so much Brooke! He looks good in bright colors!

I really need to get a grooming arm, it took me over 2 hours to groom him! he would NOT sit still for anything! :rolleyes:

Love the cut. I did that to one of my female Cali. But she got alot shorter one as she wouldn't stand still. She hates the comb and brushing sessions. So figured with the summer what the heck. My first try it wasn't the best but figure it will do. I left her face longer. Oh love that frog print. That is really cute. I will have to get some of them when I get a male.

I thought Buddy would look smaller also with a short cut but
it didn't work.:p

He sure is cute Missy, you did a great job on the hair cut. I cut my Joey's too a month or so back and I miss his long hair so bad. He looks cute this way...but I want his hair back...LOL

I'm hoping when it grows back out, it won't be so dangone thick! I think he had a lot of his puppy hair still, so it made it so think!

I hated to do it, but I had to do something!
