It was a Yorkie 4th of July!!

Gayla (Layla's Mom) had a 4th of July party at her house and Cynthia (crb) and I brought all our babies. All of our dogs were in matching 4th of July prints! We had a great time visiting and eating all the food, and the dogs had a lot of fun playing in the yard. Here are some pictures from yesterday's event :D

1. I made a Flag cake for dessert...a yummy white cake with cream cheese frosting and blueberries and raspberries for decorating.

2. I also made the dogs their very own dessert in the shape of stars..apple cinnamon cookies with raspberry cream cheese icing.

oh how cute !! and girl - that CAKE ROCKS !!! I'm so impressed !!!

It looks like you all had a great time and happy 4th - they all look soooooooooooo patriotic !

They are all so darn cute dressed for the 4th. Hope they got lots of nummys to eat too. I love that cake, wow, bet that took some time to do. So glad everyone had such a great time. :)

Michelle, Thanks for the pictures! Sounds like everyone had a Grand Ol' Time!! Love the picture of Cynthia surrounded by so many yorkies - that's heaven!

We had a great time and all the babies look so cute in their matching outfits!

Thanks Michele for bringing the YUMMY cake it was so good and the icing was to die for. Layla sends lots of kisses for those YUMMY star dog treats you made, all the babies loved them!!!

Oh my, that pic of me is absolutely horrible!! I look like I'm half asleep!!

Seriously we (furbabies included) had loads of fun. I'll have to add my pics to the thread tomorrow. I still need to upload them to my computer.

Wow!!! I wish my 4th of July included all those beautiful Patriotic little Yorkies!!! They all look like they had a great time, Michele those cookies and that cake look fabulous!!! I am suddenly craving cream cheese :p. Loved all the pics you guys must have really enjoyed the day. Fabulous!!!!:thumbup::thumbup:

What a wonderful way to spend the 4th togeather. I was home with my yorkies while my husband was out and gone to KC to a motorcycle race with family. I spent mine with my dogs, but with other furbabies would have been even better.

how FUN!!! we had a little party too... and my brother and his wife brought their dogs! they have a yorkie and a yorkie poo... ;) my sister-in-law is actually a member on here... but NEVER comes on... (Mekaluchabeans) I will have to post pics... looks like you guys had soooooooooooooooooooooo much FUN!!!
