Today was the first real rain that Marty had to walk through. I've been trying to get him in the water but he won't go. Possibly because he knows the dangers of large beaver.

I've been walking him with a group of Airedales and he will reluctantly walk through mud and creeks to keep up with them. Here are some pictures.

Marty has become quite the stud! You should bring him to our meetups on Sundays. About 10 of us (max) meet at the Albrecht ball fields around noon. Let me know if you're interested, and I'll send you the specifics. There's mostly big dogs, but they've been nice to Eddie and Jack.

Thats awesome! Marty and I would like that. Currently we meet the Airedales at 3, Sat and Sun at BiCentennial Park. Today one of our group saw a bear and two cubs!

I'll be out of town, state and country for the next few weeks, going to Europe! Mid July, I'll be back. I'm looking for fenced places to take Marty where I can let him off his leash. The ball parks sound great.

OK, just send me an e-mail or give me a call when you get back. We've been doing it for about six months now, and it's been wildly successful. All of our dogs have improved socially. I didn't think of Marty earlier because I didn't know he was hanging out wiht Airedales. He'd have no problem with this group.

I forgot to add these earlier. This is usually next to the pond, it is now IN the pond! Marty's first thought, "where's fema, lol?"

Ha, those are great. You know, they have competitions for dock diving!

Oh, and I keep forgetting to add: That shot on the beaver-downed tree is hilarious.

That second picture looks like the lake/pond in Eagle River. Are you located right in Anchorage or is that really Eagle River?? I lived there in the 70's.
