The wait is over....TESSA IS HOME!!!!!!!!!!!
 

This is one of the best days of my life!!!!! Tessa's flight was right on time and I got there shortly after they landed. Deb says Tessa did soooooooo good on the flight...she was a tad shaky when I got there but she quickly calmed down. As soon as I got my hands on her, she gave me a BUNCH of kisses!!! it was the sweetest thing in the world. She is truly adorable. I could NOT be happier!!! she is so sweet, so beautiful, and just over all PERFECT!!!

I got her home and her and Maggie have been playing non stop. Tessa is already claiming me as her own...as soon as I was sitting on the floor with her in my lap and Maggie and Daisy came near, Tessa snapped at both of them...I was laughing soooooo hard. This tiny little girl is staking her claim LOL I was so proud of maggie and Daisy both....neither one of them snapped back..they both submitted. The 3 of them have been running around the house playing non stop. Tessa had not spent much time on grass before so it was pretty funny to watch her on the grass. she high stepped and was very cautious on it. it was so funny. she finally got used to it and was chasing maggie all over the place. She also went potty outside!! I was soooooo proud of her!!!!

and here she is on her blanket we made for her. We had sent this to Deb so she could have it for her trip...and as soon as we put it on the floor, she took a toy and laid on it. it's like she knew it was a little piece of "home". I am sure she misses Deb!!!

But the good news is that she seems to really like it here so far!!!
and...she has poo'd, pee'd, and drank some water :) all very good signs :D

I know...and the funny thing is that I had no idea she would have a red dress on..and we dressed maggie in a red dress too LOL

I'm so glad she had a good trip there and you don't have to wait any longer. I know it was killing you to see her. Did I read somewhere that you were keeping it a surprise for your daughter? If so, was she excited? That's funny that they both had red dresses on. I thought you put that red dress on her when she got there so they would match. Red is their color:)

I just came from the nursery thread reading that she was coming home to you today & when. I looked at the time and thought, "Where are the pictures she promised, they should be up by now?" Was thinking they would be in the nursery thread still, but of course not..........she's "home" now.

yes, we did keep it a total secret. dh picked her up from gymnastics and I was in the front yard with Tessa....I hadn't brought her in yet. I wanted her to potty before she came in and was smothered by the other dogs :) So we were in the front yard, dh and Trinity pulled up....she saw me with the puppy and her jaw dropped!!!! she was like :eek: she jumped out of the car and was like "Is that OUR puppy?????? Is she a YORKIE???? Mom.....where did you get her???"

so I explained to her that I went to the airport and got her. she said "who did you get her from?" I said "A lady had her and I got her from the airport". I was trying to talk simple to her so she wasn't confused...but her response was HILARIOUS she said "MOM...did you STEAL HER????" I just laughed my butt off and was like "NO...I paid for her..so she is ours now :D " she was soooooooo excited :D
