A friendly intruder 4 Attachment(s) We met a stray pom on our walk, and after 10 minutes of trying to shoo him/her off, I gave in and let it follow us. They all ended up having a great time. Eddie: I don't remember this furball blocking the trail yesterday. Eddie: OK, fall in. I'll show you the ropes. Furball: Nice tail, sissy boy! Eddie: Hey! You've got a cold nose there, fella! |
Cute pics! Yorkies look good in snow!! |
Looks like they had a blast. Was that pom just wandering around. Beautiful doggy. |
You always have the best pictures!!!!! |
Thanks! I forgot to explain the "Nice tail" caption. Rusty's tail is still shaved from his chewing incident, so he looks one of those poodles that get their tails shaved into little puff balls. Teri and Megan will kill me for turning their manly Lab into a phoo phoo dog. |
Great pictures! I hope the Pom found it's owner? |
Yeah, it's a neighbor's dog. I think it may have been a stray that they adopted or someone dumped on them. At one time, they asked me if I wanted it, but I'm dogged out for now. The rest of their dogs stay in their yard even when the gate's open. This one hasn't learned that lesson yet. It's a bit of a pain trying to fight it off and handle three dogs of my own, so I finally just gave in and let it come with us. |
One caption could be "Hey Dad? Can we keep it?" |
Aww, how adorable! I'm surprised your 3 pack didn't turn into a 4 pack. :) Did the pom have any tags or any indication that he/she belongs to someone? Poor little guy (or girl). Alaska's too cold for strays... :( |
Mike - I'm telling you these photos and captions should be in a book titled "Alaska Days with Eddie and Jack"!!!! |
How cute! Aww don't you want a fourth child? |
LOL...loved all the pics and captions. |
Awww how cute! Your pictures always turn out so nice! |
You crack me up with your captions and as always the pics are awesome. |

Eddie is so cute. I love the snow pics. Im still trying to plan a trip to the snow. Im in Cali, so you have to "go" to the snow. |
WOW! I just LOVE Eddie's face in that last pic... you do a super job with the action shots... d |
Oh, I just love Eddie's face too!! Great pictures!! |
Great pics as usual Mike!!! Thanks for sharing!!! |
Super Shots!!! Thanks for sharing!!! :animal-pa |
my God is Eddie beautiful. |
Good job again, Mike!! Those shots are beautiful and the captions hysterical!! :p BTW ... Rusty's "plume" is cute! ;) |
Mike....you should be a professional photographer!!! Are you? You get the best shots!!!! I always look forward to all the photos you post!!! BTW, what kind of camera do you use? Do you use a special lens for those great action shots? Great job!!!! |
Great job on the pics Mike. I love poms - mine was only 3 lbs. tho! Poor Rusty's tail:( and Eddie looks like he is just leading that pom around by the nose. LOL:D |
BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS!!!! You do wonderful magic with a camera. The one with your lab and the pom was just aewsome! |
Awesome photos as always. Love them, always make my day, which I sure needed today. Thanks!! :) That Pom is beautiful. |

And Buddy-licious, nah, I'm just an amateur. However, if all the YTers who have said nice things about my photos would just send me $1, I'd be rich. Thanks, you guys. As for a camera, I have a Canon Digital Rebel with a 70-300mm zoom lens. That telephoto lens really makes a big difference in getting good action shots. But I don't advise people to go out and plunk down $1,000 on the camera unless you're a pretty serious amateur. |

Oh my on Rusty's tail....he's a poodle stuck in a lab's body. :D |

They look like they belong together.:winky: Great pics! Your Eddie is so darling. Happy Yorkie.:dogwalk: The Pom looks beautiful and well taken care of, right? I have a Pommie, Snowboy, and a Yorkie, Chipper, who love to roll in the snow together. What a mess! We don't have as much snow as you do, but it has been ENOUGH for KS. Where is Spring? |
