Well, after 3 days (I think... I have lost track) of ice falling. Here are some pics of Rusty & Sophie in the ice and miscellaneous pics...
No snow... ALL ice... :eek:

That sophie is a cutie! Loved the booties! But I'm with her, I don't like the cold. I know someone who moved south from the cold. He put a snow shovel on the top of his car and when someone asked what it was, he stopped looking and bought a house! :D

Hi Angi so glad that you are up and running again with pc connection. We all wuz worried about you and your family! OMG Sophie is hilarious in that one picture on the ice with her leg up.:eek: That would be Izzy, too, not likin' that at all. Amazing how much ice you guys got...geez was anyone able to drive to work and stuff?:confused:

I had leaking roof, damage to trees, etc... I hate ice storms. We had one about 2003 or so and it was bad to. Supposable this one was worse, i think the other one was. We still have people without electricity and they are telling them it maybe 7-10 days before they get them all up and going..

hi Cyndi... Thanks for the concern. HOWEVER... I STILL don't have internet. I am at work checking in on things that I normally do on the computer... balancing checkbooks, catching up on YT.. ya know.. the important stuff ;)
Anyways... Most all schools were out Monday & Tuesday and some out still today because of no electric, ours is in today.. YAY!!! Most of the OKC Metro just pretty much shut down... which is best so no one has wrecks. Heard today though we are supposed to have snow coming through in the next couple of days so seems like we might only get a one day break from the nastiness...

Gosh.. do you get ice every year? My inlaws live a couple of hrs away from okc...they never get snow. I can't imagine!
I guess I am glad there are people that like cold weather...

That is horrible! I shudder just thinking about that weather. We had an ice storm here in Georgia a few years ago...ugh!! We had no electricity for a week! Folks down here do NOT do well. If it snows four flakes, the schools close down and everyone is having fender benders! LOL! :rolleyes: On a happier note...your babies look adorable! Love the boots!!

That ice is terrible! How awful for those who have no electricity.
Stay warm and I do hope the
power comes on for those poor people who lost it.
The kids look so adorable in their parka's and boots.

I totally feel for all of you. A few years ago I was up in New Hampshire visiting with relatives when a really bad ice storm hit and it was days before it was safe to leave the house. Branches were falling everywhere and unfortunately they ( New Hampshire ) lost a lot of trees and vegetation in the process.

Thanks for everyones comments. I heard today we are supposed to be getting snow friday & saturday.. :rolleyes: I hope not. i havent started my Christmas shopping :eek: :eek:

Wow....talk about ice. I knew you all were having problems with ice, power outage and all......but wow, to see someones personal pics, it really sets in.

Your babies are adorable...I agree, Sophies pic with her leg up is adorable.

I love their Jackets, especially Sophie's. Are you sure she didn't like the ice or was she trying to kick off her shoes? HAHA! The pic of her with one leg high in the air is hilarious!

Stay safe in the ice storm, those pics look cool but so scary! :eek: Here in CO we get snow but I have never seen the ice like that, I couldn't imagine even walking outside, knowing me and how clumsy I am I'm sure I would have fallen several times by now!

When we had our snow storm EARLY (Jan, Feb) this year we got ice as well... I was leaving my office, stepped off the step and not even a milla second later I was in the air falling backwards. I hit my back then slid a little for yet another impact on the back of my head.. I yelled out VERY loud & the people in the other businesses came running out. There I sat in ICE, which I of course cracked on impact, that was turning to COLD COLD WATER. My boss took me to the ER after I refused ambulance care. I had blurred vision in both my eyes for about 2 hours... scared me to death, cracked 2 ribs and had a concusion. It was CRAZY, but I am clumsy like that and my office expects it from me :p

Wow! :eek: I'm glad you're ok, that sounds really scary! So far I haven't fallen this year in the snow/ice but it's only snowed a lot once so far. Last year we had the blizzards and I fell down my front steps twice and up them once. (yes, I did say up :D )

I could see "up" happening... bless your heart. That sucks... I feel for you. Be careful this season

That's what I thought too, would she love it if she were without boots? Wouldn't her feet be super cold? Haha, I laughed so hard at her little leg in the air, she looked like a balerina. Hehe. Thanks for all the cute pics!
