| We Finally did it!! I finally got Bella a Bike Basket! I ride almost 70 miles per week. And I thought how great would it be to bring my best girl with me! She had a Blast Her ears stood up the entire time. She was such a good girl. She perked up when she saw people and dogs but never tried to get out. Mind you she is strapped in pretty tight! We only went 6 miles today. It is so hot here. 84 and full sunshine. I worked up a sweat! I could tell Bella was hot too. Here are a couple of pics!! |

| That is too cute! How do you have her strapped in? I'd love to do this with my dogs but I'm always afraid that they'd jump out. Tbone jumped out the window of a moving car once! Oh, and I'd also have to learn how to ride a bike, but that's the easy part, right?

Riding a bike is easy. I had her harness on and it was hooked to the basket. They have bigger baskets for two. They even have some with a top that is wire that goes over their heads so they cant jump out. Bella is pretty calm. She just kinda put her face to the wind and looked around. I wish we could have gotten pics of her in motion. I would have like to see the experession on her face...but I just got the back of her head... Guess now she needs some doggles...huh??? | |

| She looks like she's having a blast. How can you ride in this heat. Ugh! I did some gardening and thought I'd die from the heat.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | That looks like a blast. I'll bet Bella loves hanging out with Mom on her rides.

| that's adorable! I've got one of the bars that attach to the rear of my bike for my lab to run with me. I tried hanging onto her leash once with my handle bars and she decided she didn't want to go anymore. I went ass over tea kettle and landed hard so we nixed that idea.
