Philadelphia: Pet Fest 2007 I found this on Craigslist and checked on the website so I thought I'd post it here. I think I'll be taking my two one of the days! Pet Fest: Love your Pet presented by Town & County Kennel. will be hosted on Schuylkill Banks, Saturday, September 29th 11am-3pm and Sunday, September 30th 12 noon -4pm. Event is free to the public. All participants are encouraged to bring their pets (leashes required) for a day of relaxation and information devoted just to them! Activities will include free samples, grooming, animal training, pet CPR and First Aid instruction, a doggie fashion show, "Best Dressed Pet Contest" and MUCH MORE! Last year, over 300 pets and their owners attended and a wonderful time was had by all. The event is held on Schuylkill Banks, located along the east side of the lower Schuylkill River, between Walnut and Chestnut Streets. Go to www.schuylkillbanks.org for the full schedule of events!

We stopped by today and it was a bust, haha. There were literally 5 or 6 dogs there and the 5 or so vendors were NOT friendly. At least the dogs enjoyed the long walk and the parks.

I didn't go, we went to the park near us instead before the meetup. I guess the event wasn't well advertised, which would explain the poor turnout and angry vendors.
