I am leaving tomorrow for a weekend away to Ocean City, MD. I was wondering if anybody knows of any dog boutiques or stores that sell cute/cool things down there. Anyone?

I live in the area and don't know of any cute boutiques in OC, but Rehoboth Beach has a couple of really great places right on the main avenue. Plus, it's a beautiful ride up route 1! The DE beaches are much more "dog friendly." Some of the local restaurants even have outside areas where you can take your dog. They will serve your pet with a bowl of water and a biscuit.

I love Rehoboth! Critter Beach is great!

Hi Ivy Lucille,
We go to O.C. every year. We stay @ Parrot bay, It's about 1 1/2 blocks off the beach. Some of their rooms are dog friendly and the rates are very inexpensive. We go in Sept. near the end of the month. The police let you take your dogs on the Boardwalk, You can walk them or alot of people now use pet strollers. Alot of the cafe like shops do have tables outside so your dog can sit with you for meals. Go to Wockenfuss's Candy store. They make milkbones dipped in Vanilla or P.b. You get 9 or 12 for $5.95. My boys just love them. You can also take them on the sand and down to the water if you want to!! I love Souvenir City and Edwards's up near the end of the Boardwalk. This was actually an older post that I posted back in Oct. Nobody replied then

My trip is over. We go down to OC every year too but it seems we do the same things all the time and I was in the mood for a little doggie shopping. lol

I will file your tips though for my next trip. I don't usually take them with me because I haven't round a place on the boardwalk that allows them. I would love to take them. Whenever we are down there I always see lots of dog walkers.

I always take my three for Breakfast at Bay skillet! They let us eat with the stroller. I go down there at lest twice a year!
