| Sending a big hug to you. I am so sorry for the loss of the lovely Sophie Bear (cute name!) I know how devastated you are. (We lost our Molly Muffins in January to illness.) There is always an emptiness in our life without our girl. There is no denying how much it hurts. It will get better, and you will always have her in your heart and mind. No matter how you lose them, accident, suddenly, or prolonged illness, it is never easy. It is a traumatic experience no matter how it happens. During the immediate grieving period, it was here on YT that I found the most comfort. We have family and friends who also loved our girl, but somehow it was the other yorkie families who helped me the most with their deep understanding of the bond and connection we have with our little yorkies. We now have a new girl, Nina Bear, and it is fun to see her personality come along. She is quite different from our Molly! Which is a good thing, because there can only be one Molly. She was such a special girl. Just as your Sophie Bear was a special gal. I loved hearing how she helped your other yorkie learn to be his 'own' dog! Thank you for sharing. May your Sophie rest in peace and I hope she gets to meet my Molly up in heaven.
