I am so sorry for your loss. I've just been through this and the only thing I can say is your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Try to remember the good times. And, I have to say how wonderful of you to take the time in your pain to warn others about life jackets. I'm sure you will save a life through your efforts to let people know. Misty was beautiful!

It had me crying too. Of all the dogs that I have left condolences for, this one has hit me the hardest, I guess because there was no illness, it was an accident and could happen to any dog. I am so sorry for your loss of Misty and trust that I will keep you and her in my thoughts and prayers

I'm so sorry about your loss. I cannot imagine your pain and sorrow. Take comfort in knowing that you two will meet on rainbow bridge someday. She was such a pretty little girl. Your tribute to her was absolutely beautiful. I pray that you and your family find peace and can rejoice in the good times you had with her.

Molly - I know you're still devestated - I just wanted to say I'm stil thinking about you - hope it's getting a little easier to bear though I know it will stay with you for the rest of your life - time does ease the sharp pain....

Thanks everyone for taking the time to send your condolences. It really has made me feel much better! I talked to my dad a while ago and they still have not found our little Misty Girl. That is what is the hardest ... knowing that she's still in the lake. I made my dad go out again and look for her. With the heavy boat traffic this coming weekend maybe she'll surface. It's still so hard to believe ...

Oh my gosh. There is simply nothing in the world that can replace your precious baby. I have been through it once and it just feels like the world has ended. I have finally got a new baby after 12 years. I love her so much. I'm just so sad for you. Take care and know that others feel for you.
