Im so sorry for the loss of youre bay Izzy... I know how it feels to loose a pet ( Which I refer to him as family) Gets out of the house but it only takes 1 min. to realize your baby is gone.....But it also takes 1 min. for them to get hit.....Did the driver say anything????? I know he might have been to little to see ...but when im driving and see a poor puppy in the street I stop .....!!!!
May our prayers be with you ....How old was this pup??? Now Little Izzy is in Puppy Heaven!!!

I am very sorry for your loss. I understand your pain. My first yorkie died also hit by a car. It happened when i was pregnated (last month) of my daughter. It was 27 years ago and this little angel is still in my heart.
You are right yorkies are like babies and the loss of a baby hurts very much.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. Our family is doing a little better. Little things pop up that remind us of our little Izzy. My daughter and I went shopping a Pet Smart. They had some cute clothes. My daughter says "wouldn't this look cute on Izzy!". Then she realized Izzy was gone. That was a bad night.

Did the driver say anything?????

The driver stopped at my sisters house across the street from me. She had seen a dog in my sisters window, so she thought it was hers. My dogs go out in our back yard. So a lot of people would not even know we have dogs. I was standing at my back door when the lady pulled into my sisters driveway. She flew in there. Which is only about 8 feet from where Izzy got hit. There were not skid marks. I didn't hear a thing. I have a feeling the lady was driving too fast. Izzy was a little slow girl. She did nothing fast. So, I can not imagine why the lady did not see her crossing the road. Anyways, no one was at my sisters house. So the lady went home to get her husband. She lives a few blocks away from me. By the time they got back, I was with Izzy. The lady felt really bad. The husband wrapped Izzy up in a blanket for me. The lady hugged me as I rocked my baby Izzy. She called me later that afternoon to check on me. She offered to come to my house if I needed her.
