So heartbreaking! Is there anyone in your area that might could help you with a lactating/surogate Mom temporarily for the puppies??? BLess you |
So sorry for your loss; I will keep you and your puppys in my heart. |
I am so sorry I am so sorry for your loss, however as you grieve know that she will always be with you. Those brown eyes are in her puppies. We don't know why things happen and it is better I feel not to know. God has a purpose and a plan for all things big and small. The one sentence that I read that I knew that you are a wonderful person was that you were on the sofa just a few feet away. How many people would lay on a sofa because their dog had surgery and puppies. A lot of hands will go up but not many people would, just a simple thing laying on a sofa. It is so simple to say I love Yorkies but the test is showing it. She knew you were there and that you loved her unconditionally. Love is priceless Animal or Human. Take care of those babies and in 10-12 days the eyes will open and you will see the part that she left for you. You are worthy and capable. Rest when you can Cry when you can but believe she is at the rainbow bridge in no pain with all the other furbabies. |
I am so sorry for your loss of your little Polly. Blessings on you and her beautiful babies. They are blessed to have you, and you and Polly were blessed to have each other. I hope all goes well with the new little ones!! |
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, it really breaks my heart to read this thread. I followed your other thread and really hoped that everything would turn out fine. I can't even begin to imagine the pain you must be feeling. Polly lives on in her puppies and you're doing a great job caring for them. I wish you all the best for that task and for the puppies of course. |
That is so so sad! I'm sorry you lost her, my heart goes out to you. |
Oh My I just read this thread and this is terrible I am so sorry. I hope and pray for the puppies to be strong & healthy and to give you back a much greater reward . Seeing them live it will be worth the sleepless nights the missed functions. I too have been here and done that. |
I'm SO SORRY ! What you're going thru right now is why I could never ever breed my girls - that would just devestate me so much I would never be the same....I'm very sorry for the loss of the mom and good luck with her babies.... Oh lord - these poor dogs who lose their lives to childbirth just break my heart...:( :( :( :( |
I'm so sorry you lost Polly. I know your heart is just breaking. I'll be praying for you and the babies! |
Thank yous and good update! Your kind words have meant so much...just went back thru and re-read each and every one...with a lot of kleenex.. I have to feel the guilt, she deserves it, she is worthy of it, I cant just throw her aside and go on without feeling this way at least for a while...I will be better soon BECAUSE: The babies are doing great, I posted in the nursery forum earlier but wanted to be sure you all knew..they are thriving, really thriving and this is so surprising they never had one drop of Moms milk. They are drinking from a bottle like little warriors (like their Dad, he is 3.5 lbs and would fight a elephant to protect us) every 2-3 hours and sleep soundly between feedings..no whimpers, no crys, and this afternoon the two girls are so strong they climbed out of their blanket nest... had to run out and buy a smaller container (origianl was big enough for Ponytail Polly to lay in) so they wouldnt get stranded away from the heat. I am going to post pix soon...promise |
Oh that is AWESOME to hear about the babies! As you know I had 4 new babies just 2 days before you so I can NOT even imagine having to take on theses 4 with out momma. You will just have to keep them all and be surrounded by baby Polly replicas that love you! One life was lost but because of you three are living. |
