| I lost part of my heart I have not been able to write these words until now. I am heart-sick -- and to deal with it all, I have cried myself out and have forced myself into "life as normal" submission. I am weeping as I type. Last Sunday night, my precious tiny Izzabella went into an seizure that she never recovered from. Within 45 minutes of her seizing she was in the hands of my very skilled vet who told me that she had hydracephalus. Dr. Carr, the Kind and Compassionate, gentley told me that after being in a seizure state for as long as she had, that chances of recovery were little to none. I could not leave her there to die alone, and I could not bring her home as she was, so I had to make the decision to let my little angel fly...... I cannot go into details of the seizure, I get physically ill to think about it, so I have it compartmentalized her last hour in a section of my heart that I visit when I am alone and can cry, unashamed, over this little snippet that stole my heart. |

| I am so sorry for you...I too have been where you are now, and there isn't anything I can say to ease your pain...Just know that you did the right thing for little angel Izzabella. Until someone has had to be in your shoes and watch and listen & see what your precious angel is going through they can not understand the pain...I too had one that had seizures from Liver Shunts, his poor little body just couldn't handle it anymore so I choose the same path as you...It has been 3 years and my heart still aches for him, but time does help ease the pain. It took me a good 2 months to stop crying everyday, and trying to go back to normal mode is very hard, you have all the feelings and the guilt just overcoming you when you see or think of things from your baby, the thing that help me more than anything is knowing he was in a better place with no pain...I truly am sorry that you have to go through this and I will be here for you if you just need to talk....May God bless you and ease your pain...Hugs & kisses....

| I am so, so sorry for loss. Words won't fix your pain, but time will help heal the ache. She is safe now, and your memories will keep her with you always. Take your wings and fly little Izzabella

| I'm so sorry you lost little Izzabella. I know it brings great pain and you have a great big hole in your heart now. It happened so suddenly that I'm sure that added to your shock and makes it much more difficult to deal with. Bless you.
