In Memory of my Friesian Colt
Yesterday at 6:51am we lost the battle to save my 21 month old Friesian colt Majam (Mack). I watched him enter this world on a warm summer night at 11:50pm July 10th. You were so so beautiful with your jet black and wavy hair. Never more will I see you kicking up your hoofs. We spent countless hours just watching you frolic around the paddock. You made everyone laugh. You were a gentle giant, the grandbabies couldn't wait to see their Mack and give you a carrot. I have cried more this week than I have in years. You were our dream come true, our investment. A #2 in the Friesian world, wow what an accomplishment. Good bye my "Fruit Loop", from all that have loved you and admired you.

From one horse mommy to another I am soo sorry for your loss. It is always hard to lose an animal but particularly when you put so much of your heart into it thinking "this is the one". I hope another Majam comes into your life. Good luck.

I am so sorry you lost your colt...that is so sad! Keep your hopes up tho...I am sure there will be another...don't give up! We have an 8 month old grandson and a few weeks ago ran across an 8 year old Welsh Pony that we just could not pass up. We named her Fancy and she is due to foal the first of June. I am looking forward to it but also dreading it because you just don't ever know. This is her 2nd foal and she did fine with the first. You will be in our thoughts and prayers thru this hard time.

Oh I am so sorry. I lost a colt once too. I sat on the ground and held her head in my lap as she died. I'm crying just thinking about it. She thought she was a big dog. Oh the joy and the heartreak our babies give us. No matter what their size or shape. I share your pain and agony. It's not easy.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how you feel, I don't know what I would do if I lost my horse.
