I have been bottle feeding three yorkies that mother died. They seemed to be doing okay other than being very tiny and weak. The first two died within 2 hours of each other last week. The other pup started gaining and doing well and I named her Miracle. However, yesterday Miracle developed bloody stools and refused to suck or swallow. I choose to let her pass. I laid her in her box with her stuffed "mommy" and she died last night about 8:00 pm. After many sleep deprived nights I am emotionally and pshyically exhausted. She was only 3 weeks old but, I felt like she had been here for years.

How heartbreaking!! You gave that puppy the most loving 3 weeks a yorkie could ask for, I'm sure! Yorkie Heaven smiles on you, tinkertoyyorkie!

I agree. You did a very honorable thing! I'm so, so sorry that they didn't make it! Bo sends kisses!! And I'll say a prayer that you will get some needed rest and have reasurrance that you did all you could.

I feel so sad for you . Heartbreaking to loose a little one . I have had the same experience and at first , I really felt guilty for a long time . A friend help me by telling me to do not worry because little Magic was with her mother waiting at the rainbow bridge .

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom and pups. I have been down the same road and it is beyond heartbreak. Please remind yourself as you grieve, that you loved all four everyday of their life and did all you could for them.

I was sorry to hear the story of the little orphaned babies. You gave it your best shot and it was not to be. I am truly sorry for your loss. please know that they are in a better place now.

What a sad story, but so beautiful that you cared for them as you did...you gave those sweeties a chance & I'm sure the most love anyone could pack into such a short time.

I'm so sorry they didn't make it. Its gut wrenching to lose one after that long. I can't imagine 3. You have my sympathies.
