| ![]() since you left us, my angels Gracie and Scruffy. Mommy still loves you and always will. Here is a poem I just read, and I'm putting it here in honor of you. ALL IS WELL Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I, and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we still are; call me by my old familiar name; speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference in your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow; laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, and pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was, let it be spoken without effort, without the trace of a shadow on it. Life means all that it was ever meant; it is the same as it ever was; there is unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you, for an interval somewhere very near, just around the corner. ALL IS WELL. |

| ![]() Oh Elizabeth, you are in my thoughts on this anniversary. I know it's so hard. Thanks for that beautiful poem. That's how I try to feel about my mom, I talk to her all of the time. I had an 11 year old brother who died before I was born, and I sometimes forget I didn't know him because my mother kept his memory alive. She told stories, or would say "Freddie would have loved this". I always tell Tucker he's a brat he should be more like his angel brother, Bandit, but Tuck doesn't listen!
