I Don't Know How long Hi ..I am new here and so glad I have found this site. My Twinkles has gone to heaven 3 years ago this May..and it seems like I can't get over crying. I miss her terribly.. She was so smart and loveable. It took me a long time to make the decision to put her to sleep at 14 years of age. I stayed with her til the end and she fought like the little trouper she was til the end. I took her home to bury her in my moms yard. With other pets of Mom's. but every day I think of her. The tears just come.. I will always love and miss you Twink... Thanks all for listening...

Have you ever considered getting another one . . . not to replace your Twinkie but just so you can find purpose again . . . . they are such adorable creatures and am sure Twinkie would not want you to suffer forever!

I am so sorry for your loss. I just lost my precious toy poodle Candie a year ago. I had to make that dreaded decision as well. Even though I know it was best it still hurt. My husband saw how bad I was hurting and he got my Sophie for me. It really helped. Nothing could ever take Candie's place but it sure filled some of the void. I still miss Candie and dream about her all the time but they are always happy dreams. With time you will be able to deal with it better. If you ever need to talk you can find me hear. Tanya

I am sorry for your loss. You can never replace what you had with your little one nor can you place them. But you might think about getting another one to ease the pain a bit. I am sure your baby would not mind you having another.

| I know how you feel. I lost my sweet poodle " Beau " a little over 4 years ago and sometimes I get to thinking about him and just cant help but cry. They touch our hearts so deeply that even after they pass on, they are really still with us. I think about him all the time and have one particular picture of him doing what he loved most in his little life, playing ball. It is in my bathroom where I get ready every morning and it just makes me start the day off happy! He was my sweet little angel and it makes me feel so good to know he is up there playing ball till his hearts content. He was 12. As others have said, another puppy will take over your heart so fast. You will never forget Twinkles at all, but you will find out you have so much love in your heart that you can share it with your new one. I really hope and pray that you are able to find a puppy that you can afford, or maybe a rescue? Good luck and Twinkles knows you think about her. Twinkles looks so precious in those pics. Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Twinkles was Blessed to have you for the many years she was here, it is hard to loose one. Part of our heart goes with them. The memories you have will be with you always to cherish. I noticed the basket on your bike and twinkles in it, adoreable pictures of Twinkles. I still can't look at any of Cassie's pictures, will post one when I can do that. We lost our Cassie in November, that was the hardest longest night of my life. I am like you when ever I start talking or thinking about her I cry, I just pray that in time God will heal our hearts. I wish you could get another baby, none will ever take the place of one we have lost but it will help and they bring so much joy into our lives and are such a comfort and so much therapy. I am thankful we got Baby Blessing, she is helping us cope much better than before. RIP Twinkles with Cassie and everyones precious fur babies, you all are loved and forever remembered. | Hi!! I am also new to the site. I lost both of my yorkies almost 2 years ago and I still cry over the loss of them I had a male and female. They died within 2 mths of each other. My female was only 5 and it was unexpectantly. I understand what you are experiencing. I am so glad that I found this site. I am almost ready to get another yorkie. They are such sweet dogs and I am not trying to replace my two that I lost, but I know in my heart that Patty and Boscoe will always hold such a special place in my heart. You will know in your heart when the right time is to get another dog.If you need anything, pleae don't hesitate to e-mail me. Cyndi |
