| Today, Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 6:02 P.M., seventeen and a half years after the birth of Canela, she was aided in transitioning to the next phase of life with the help of our vet. To say that this wasn't a painful decision would be to lie. To say I did not cry at the vet, with the staff looking on and being teary-eyed themselves and me not caring, would be a lie. To feel like 17 1/2 years wasn't enough time for us...there's never enough time. I will forever miss you my little girl. My mother misses you already. Your Yorkie sister misses you already. The human family and friends miss you already as well. Until we meet again. I love you my little girl. |
