Yorkie Talker | I will always miss Ginger My baby died last Tuesday, May 5th, 2020. She was the perfect companion for me. We lived together for 7 1/2 years and she would have been 14 years old on the 6th of June, 2020. Ginger came to me when the local vet's office staff called me at home and asked if I could 'baby-sit' a dog for them over the weekend. This was on a Saturday morning and I drove into town to meet this little girl. They brought Ginger out to me in the waiting room. Ginger and I looked at each other and then they handed her to me very gently and I carefully pet her along her beautiful brown coat. She liked that. Ginger was 6 years old and a woman had brought Ginger in to perhaps have her put to sleep as she appeared to be having 'seizures or something' the woman told them. Something that never happened! I took Ginger home after many instructions and made arrangements to bring her back the next Tuesday. We had the time of our lives for 7 1/2 years. She brought me so much joy and happiness as my husband had passed away just a year ands a half before Ginger came into my life. I was full of sadness and grief just about every day. Now I guess I'll go through this again for my loving Ginger. |

Yorkie Talker | Thank you, kwini, matese, Lisa and Pic, Bella 7808, nanajoy, maxdog, sugarpig, and kjc for your kind words that you all posted here. Over a month now since Ginger left and I still feel her presence here. It is getting just a tad bit easier to try to accept her being gone. Never knew that it would be this painful to lose her. I now have decided to try to find a companion, another small fur baby. Definitely not a puppy but an older dog. Hopefully about 4 to 7 years old. But I am not having positive results. So many puppies and so costly. Also, so many Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes. Too big for me though.Again, thank you to all for your kind words. Its means a lot to me. |
