Missing my best buddy Skippy I recently lost my best bud and now feeling so empty. Last year I lost my husband who also passed. Skippy was a clown who always knew what buttons to push and then look at me with that special "smile" that Yorkies seem to have. He was a Christmas present to me from my husband when he was just 3 weeks old. Skippy was my reason to get out of bed each morning after my husband passed and was my comforter. He was active until the very end meaning that morning, we went on our usual morning mile walk. Had to chase the bunnies, bark at the mail truck every day and frolick with my neighbors lab dog. Then totally unexpected, he went down and had to rush him to the vet. Being a senior, there was no way I could help him any longer and had to make the decision to send him to the Rainbow Bridge. He was very alert (but in pain) until they helped him relax. I almost feel like I killed my baby!!! I so miss my bud. I have his ashes on my fireplace mantel right next to my husband's and hoping they are once again playing and napping together. I miss you Skippy!! Love Mommy!!

So sorry for your loss of Skippy. They fill our lives with so much love, understanding and companionship. Lost my Jasmine Oct 13. It is one of the hardest things to make that decision to let them go.

Hi, I don't get on the site very often and would normally not look at this section but I feel so sorry that you have no longer got your baby boy in the physical sense, I totally believe he's there in spirit though, you never get over them, no matter how many you have they are all unique and our soul mates for the time we have them at our side. Its early days and I'm hoping that in time you will consider giving a home to another little one, I said after losing my Lou Lou I would not have another Yorkie but I had let the rescue know and Alma sent pictures of other yorkies she had, I said no no no and then she sent me this picture, just trying to upload, once I had looked I couldn't refuse. And although I still miss my other babies that are now running round with there other buddies I would part with poppy, I haven't replaced any of my dogs over the years just made a space for them in my heart, us yorkie lovers have big hearts.
