YT Addict | My Baby passed last night To all of you that know me, you all know I have had my yorkie Gizmo for over 10 years. Please please pray for my baby. He was admitted to the hospital last yesterday fighting for his life. His blood sugar OS off the chart and pancreas is inflamed. Sadly he did not make it. I know its been awhile since I have been on this site, but I know that here in this community, you all know exactly what I am going through. I have cried and cried healing tears for my baby and I am trying not to rush the process because I have never felt such pain. My husband has asked me will I get another yorkie to Love and cherish, but I would not know where to start or how to do that. So to my fellow yorkie moms and dads, please be of comfort and help me through this. Thank you all so very much Cynthia Clark R.I.P My darling Gizmo!

| I'm so sorry for your loss. The poem below has given me comfort in the past. THE RAINBOW BRIDGE Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown... One day, we will see them again. Take care. |

| I am very sorry for your loss. Only you can know when or if there will be a right time to get another yorkie. It might be next week, it might be next year. Everyone is different. Remember him for all the joy he brought to your life and remember he is waiting for you at Rainbow Bridge. ( I have read Rainbow Bridge a hundred times and it still brings a tear to my eye every time I read it) RIP Gizmo.

| I'm so sorry for your loss and for your heartache. It's a pain like no other when we lose a precious baby. Gizmo knew how much you loved him. He will always be in your heart. Rest In Peace, Gizmo.

| This is the perfect place to let others know because only other yorkie people get it. I remember pouring out my heart here the night our Millie died--I knew no one would disparage the depth of my grief at that moment. Another puppy may be a great idea--when you are ready. We were glad that our breeder did not have any pups right away. We needed time to mourn the loss. Treat yourself kindly. The pain is real.

YT 2000 Club Member | Dog food Prayer for you . GIZMO was a very special dog. I love the rainbow bridge poem. It comforted me when my Spud passed. I keep his pictures up and when I go to church his photo on my purse faces me. I know he is happy and will be waiting for me. I work with hospice patients so I have a little corner in my house with their pictures. I have my dogs pictures there too. It helps me to go and see their photos. I got another yorkie. Daisy brings a lot of doggy love to our home. Your little Gizmo is never forgotten. |
